Breath taking views with very few people around for the kids summer holidays. Please take your litter home as this is a place of outstanding natural beauty....even my internet surfing teenagers found it jaw-dropping. Lucky wales!

Spectacular sea views and good sandy beaches. Sea bathing should always be approached with caution, as not all coves are safe owing to small estuaries. Many visitors are hooked and come back year after year.

The Gower is just beautiful. Fantastic surfing and great walks. Highly recommend a visit. If you fancy camping or hiring a caravan check out Hill End. Great site and well run.

This stunning part of Wales takes my breath away. The sandy beaches and rugged cost line clash to give spectacular views. Places where it piceful, calming and a delight to see. I love going there just for the calm.

The first place in the UK to be designated an area of outstanding natural beauty, and rightly so. So many beautiful beaches, footpaths and breath taking scenery, something for everyone. Gower has been likened to Cornwall and Devon but "without the crowds", that in my estimation is a very fair comment.

I have had to visit the Gower for many years due to marrying someone who was born there. During the holiday season the roads get very jamped up and the popular beaches & car parks are full. If you drive further round the Gower, the more remote beaches are better but they do not have services like toilets & snack... More
