Superb scenery and excellent beaches. Probably not suitable for the less active - but for walkers and bikers and families who like the outdoors couldn't be better.

When the weather is good there is nowhere better, excellent beaches and great people. When the weather is raining, less people just as beautiful (has to be there is a lot of rain!).

Am I giving away the secret? The Gower is the most beautiful area of outstanding natural beauty in the UK. Just because it is a little harder to reach than other sites it is not so well known. Find out for yourself!

If you like beaches, cliff or woods walks, marshes and moors then you can have it all on Gower. Camping, hotels, fabulous eateries and on the doorstep of Swansea - a city with Britain's best indoor market, theatres, museums, galleries and a marina. What is there no to love?

The Gower has a beach for every mood. Large windswept sandy areas to small rocky coves. Treat yourself to an Ice Cream in The Mumbles after a hard day of enjoyment.
