We've been to the Gower a few times and one always have the feeling you're on an island somewhere far and remote. It can get busy at times and at busy beaches, but you only have to walk a few short miles in any direction to find yourself on your own isolated beach.

Beautiful scenery, but not the time of year for swimming! We arrived late so cafes were closing at Oxwich. Good Fish and chips at Port Eynon.

Beautiful walks and fabulous scenery. Bluebells in full bloom and the aroma of wild garlic on walks. Nature at its best. Rhossili beach and Worms Head do not disappoint.

Visited over recent BH. Weather was fantastic. With weather like this, unless you just want to lie on the beach, the Gower competes with any beach anywhere in the world. A must to visit

We went to explore The Gower, and was not disappointed. A lovely part of Wales, some very rural, great walks, some beautiful beaches which you could drive right up to, whilst others were not very accessible, eg Rhosilli, without either a very long walk or quite steep.

The scenery is superb, loads of history if you are interested, loads of excellent beaches too. Don't miss it.

An absolutely beautiful area with incredible views. A family with four children, aged 1 to 9, staying in a motorhome, at The Three Cliffs Bay site at the end of the season, we were able to walk with a pushchair to the beach, the walk back was hard work with the pushchair though. The beach was lovely flat and with... More

I never tire of visiting the Gower Peninsular! The main feature I love about this area of outstanding natural beauty, is that it is uncommercialised! It has wonderful and incomparable beaches :) I have visited beaches in the world which people rave about. . . Who needs a multitude of high- rise hotels sitting on a beach's edge? . .... More

Absolutely nothing to dislike, the view is spectacular and the food delicious. It does get very busy there but the atmosphere is great. Although I live locally it makes me feel as though I'm on holiday.
