Great for walks

Quite a hidden gem, just off Blackpill and the Mumbles Road. Great for walks at any time of the year.

You can almost be in a Himalayan valley with 60' R arboreums and many other species and hybrids throughout Clyne Gardens. Rhodos are not, of course the only attraction - this is a truly wonderful asset to Swansea.

Must be one of the best gardens showing rhodedendrons and Azelia's in flower. Best time to visit is late April early May

this is a very popular park for taking a leisurely stroll at your own pace, plenty of off track areas to wander off to, the back drop of Clyne Castle is Fantastic and worth a few photographs

Clyne castle gardens is a national treasure and a must for anyone who loves rhododendrons and floral woodland. Set in a sheltered valley with fine views across Swansea bay this is a truly magical place to visit in early May. This is a garden which was originally in private hands up to the 1950s but now is open to the public. It has a tremendous display of rhododendrums in season but is delightful any time of year. Kids can have fun trying to find the lookout tower.

Its competes with the very best in May when the rhodendrons are glorious. It is marvellous at any time, full of interesting trees and lovely features.

A nice place to visit at all times of the year and a special time is the autumn with the different changing colour of the trees. Great views of the Swansea Bay

This is a "must see" attraction in Swansea. The walk is so enjoyable and, there seems to be something interesting to see whatever the season. I liked the Handkerchief tree by Joy Cottage whilst the children loved hiding amongst the giant Elephant rhubarb in the big garden, the face in the bark of the magical story tree and reading the... Be warned, the gardens are not flat, there are some steep-ish paths. The gardens cover a fair sized area and tend to be fairly quite. A handy place to go to chill out.
