There is nothing like a nice sandy beach with the sun shining in the sky and sand between your toes. This bay meets all of the requirements. Yes it can get very busy at times and the tide does come quite a way up the beach so it can seem to be even more crowded at times. However, it is... More

Caswell not only has the beach and the Surf School, but as part of the Coast Path is walkable to/from other places: Rotherslade Bay, Langland Bay and when the tide is right Brandy Cove or even further round. There are the usual outlets for drinks, ices, beach toys etc, and back at the end of the car park there's a... More

don't stop there. Walk to the right hand side ( facing out to sea) and a path will take you along a beautiful walk along the cliffs to Brandy Cove and Pwll Du. Magical on a sunny day. Not too difficult but be careful. You can walk to Langland on the other side of the beach so the choice is... More

Lovely beach with a great Cafe serving lovely food and coffees overlooking the bay. We go everytime we visit the Gower, which is a lot.

Caswell Bay is a stunning little bay around the coast from Mumbles. Lovely beach, with a small car park £5 for a whole day, so this ensures the beach doesnt get too packed. There are small eateries for drinks etc. The added bonus is that there are life guards on duty so safe swimming at all times.

A beautiful bay which holds many memories. Glad to see the cafe and shop back in business after the battering it took in the storms last winter. It is such a popular place because of its close proximity to Swansea, bus service and level access that it was packed. Didn't stop and drove on to another bay.
