The sandy parts of this beach are being replaced by stones. There seems to be a local policy to replace sands with stones. This is making the sandy areas over crowded. Very disappointed.

Lovely views, safe for kids of all ages. Parking charges are reasonable and no distance to get to the beach from the car park. Loos & shower next to car park. Great for swimming and body boarding with the kids.

This once fabulous beach has been ruined for holiday - makers this year when council moved stones from east side of the beach to the west. Our family found entering and exiting the sea difficult and we noticed children stumbling on the slippery algae. We found it difficult to play on what little sand there is in this area and... More

Like all the surf cafés it is always busy. Serves good snacks & cakes & ice cream. Has newspapers and a stove for cold months. Staff are usually young but friendly and work hard. Prices are not cheap but they have to pay rent to the council & pay staff. Food is fresh and usually presented well. Paninis, sandwiches etc.The... More

My mother and I have stopped at the apartments at Caswell Bay 3 years now and we call this view our second home. We love watching the waves - perfect for surfers and we have enjoyed many walks along the coast line.

Its easy to see why this beach is so popular, especially with families with young children as it has a large flat sandy beach and gentle currents in the shallow first 30 yards of the sea. The cafe on the promenade is looking a little tired now and could benefit from a refurb. Theres a nice walk to be had... More

An ideal beach for the children building sand castles and playing games. A cafe close by for a snack and a drink. A car park across the road.

Caswell Bay is one of the best beaches in Wales. It's set in a very scenic location with a great backdrop. It's definitely worth a visit.

Need to go early in hot sunny days as so popular, in winter the serve a welcoming hot chocolate. Sheltered small bay clean flat sand no dunes to climb, although some rocks and small pools to explore . Surfers love it , goof family beach, don't think dogs allowed in summer either. Can walk along coastal path to Langland where... More

If you like very crowded beaches and I mean crowded when we went to just look at the beginning of August this is the beach for you. The waves look good for surfing, which is what people go there to do I think. We noticed that there is a car park which was full. There are eating kiosks and beach... More
