This is a great beach to take children of all ages with plenty of sand and caves and rocks for climbing for older children. The cafe here welcomes dogs, serves the best bacon butties ever and even has a bin of blankets you can get out and wrap around yourself if it's breezy. A lovely brunch destination for all the... I love this beach but a great pity to see this beach has not recovered from the damage done in March 2014 when stones were moved from the eastern side of the beach to the western end near Redcliffe. The appearance of the beach changes almost daily depending on winds and currents but digging on the beach with my children... More

A large expanse of sand especially when the tide is out (and it does go out a long way) with three cafes/coffee shops at the entrance to the beach. Also home to a surfing school.

The beach is fantastic but its absolutely rammed on a nice day. There is a pay and display car park but it gets rammed on a hot day, you'd be better off getting a lift down or riding your bike. There is a nice little snack shop and gift shop to buy bucket and spades and such, ice creams tea,... More

Dog friendly. It is nice to be able to sit inside a cafe witht he dog rather than outside on a winters morning.

Fantastic beach for families, large car park across the road, shops for the kids and as the tide goes out a fabulous beach, can get crowded though when the tide comes in, my favourite is around the left hand cliff when the tide is low, golden sands and clear water

Smallish, lots of rocks, rock pools, shops, toilets showers. You will always have a great day out. Lots of walks in the immediate area. Reasonable day out with the children.

Stayed in apartments on beech front, great views in peaceful environment. A great beech and some amazing coastal walks. Also great for exploring the rest of the Gower Coast. Definitely be back again

Nothing to dislike at all here. Wonderful for family with plenty of sand and lovely scenery. Easy access for all and ample parking with reasonable rates. Beach side shops for snacks and drinks etc. Toilets clean and easily accessible. Great day out.

I love this bay, cozy at times when the tide is in and you can have a good walk when out. After October when we can bring dogs back, it is great to let them charge about as it is safe. Children love it too even when cool. And good for surfers. The café is great, especially as they let... More
