lovely beach with cafes and it has toilet facilities. we love coming here. The shopo sells typical seaside things i.e cuckets and spades, footballs, bodyboards etc. gives me a real seaside/holiday feel when i come here.

Not the best beach along the Gower but it is definitely a good one!!! The beaches that it is competing against is surreal though. This beach is extremely popular in the summer and great for evening bbqs on the beach. The sea is great to swim in however make sure you know how to swim if you try this out!!... More

I'm saddened by the review of Caswell recently that imply the beach was purposefully changed from a lush sandy beach to one filled with rocks and stones. This was not done on purpose. This was the result of a horrendous storm at the beginning of the year which tripped away all the sand and exposed the stones underneath, pushing them... More

We have just got back from a week at Caswell and were shocked to see the change in this beach. We enjoy walking from Langland along the coast to Pwll Ddu but crossing the beach at Caswell is almost impossible because of the stones on the beach. The western end of the beach is now deserted and visitors are staying... More

Came here with my Dad to sit and think about life, my Mum having recently passed away. Very nice spot, looking across the beach to the sea and the rocks. Nice seating area, facing the right way and very decent take-away chippy to the side. Good car park and amenities.

What a lovely beach, reminded me of Saunton Sands, North Devon, where we usually go body boarding. Living in Bristol, Caswell Bay is nearer than Saunton by about 40minutes, so better to stay over for a night if you can. The beach has parking very close by, a handful of shops (didn't try any, sorry!). Parking costs were £1 an... More

Keep to the left / eastern side of this beach. There's lots of big stones just beneath the waves at the western side, unless you do want to smash the board or your bones.

The sandy parts of this beach are being replaced by stones. There seems to be a local policy to replace sands with stones. This is making the sandy areas over crowded. Very disappointed.

We have just returned from a week at Caswell and were shocked to see the changes in this beach. The sand on the western side of the beach is now covered with large, dangerous stones. The children found it difficult to get into the sea and we had many tears from stubbed toes !! We have been coming to this beautiful... More

Lovely views, safe for kids of all ages. Parking charges are reasonable and no distance to get to the beach from the car park. Loos & shower next to car park. Great for swimming and body boarding with the kids.
