We have both been visiting Caswell since early childhood. The scenery is second to none and the water kinder and safer than some of the other beaches around the Gower. (Three Cliffs Bay is renown for dangerous rips - last year [2015] there was a spat on incidents at Three Cliffs including drownings), but of course you should always bath... More

I often take a walk along Caswell beach with the family. Park the car in the car park close by. The coast line along this part of Gower is breath taking and a delight in the summer.

Caswel has always been a first for locals in the area, but many visitors don't have the opportunity to visit as its not sign posted as a popular area. The road to Caswel is narrow and can be busy during peak seaso, with many beach shops for all your buckets and ice cream. Car parking is really tough although the... More

I love this place for fishing, lots of species to be caught. A bit crowded in the summer months with beach goers :-) so fish from the rocks. species I've caught there- turbot, flounder, plaice, red mullet, bass, coalfish, whiting, Codling, smouthound, red and tub gurnard and the ubiquitous dogfish. I would live there if I could afford it.

Caswell beach is a great place to be. The water is nice, not always clear only if the water is very calm. The beach has nice waves to body board on. It is a nice beach with rock pools to have a look in. More at low tide. A massive beach. Great walks from either end of the beach. A... More

CASWELL BAY is at the commencement of the beautiful Gower Coast, on the outskirts and west of Swansea, Wales. It is one of several bays that follows on from the resort of the Mumbles, and its pier.which is at the furthest visible point west of Swansea Bay itself. There is a pathway which will take you from the Mumbles along... More

Have been going to Caswell (stay in flats overlooking Caswell) for over 30 years now and it still has the same magic and beauty since the first time I layed eyes on it. Brought my wife here for our honeymoon and she can't keep away too. Have our first child on the way and will definitely keep up the tradition!... More

Caswell Bay is a beautiful inlet on the Gower peninsula just beyond the main town of Mumbles. There is a fine sandy beach with rocky cliffs on either side.A car park is across the main road to the rear of the beach. Pine trees grow around the private houses and flats at Caswell, adding to the beauty of this spot.... More
