You can walk along the entire length of the beach at low tide. Have good food in the dog friendly cafe in a relaxed atmosphere it walk along the cliff path to Langland bay. If it is a nice day the car park fills up early

The beach is so sandy, no pebbles, no rocks, no currants. It's huge at low tide, gradually getting smaller as the tide comes in. We had surf lessons here - great fun. After 3 lessons we felt brave enough to hire a board and venture in on our own.

This is the place we spent our childhood holidays. The shops are built differently and the steps leading to the beach but the rest is as I remember

This was another beautiful beach that we visited following a short walk along the cliff from to Langland bay. Blue flag beach safe for children and (there were a lot there on the day we visited all with bucket and spade !!! ) There is a small but hardly noticeable stream which splits the beach, but gives it extra character.... Clean blue water, rock pools and little caves for the kids, easy parking near by, toilets and food outlets near by purfect family day out in the sun. My only bugbear at this beach is the chavs that occasionally visit and leave their larger cans floating around in the sea!

This is definitely the place to go with children. The beach is huge with lots of rock pools when the tide is out. There are places to eat there. A little on the expensive side but if you haven't packed a picnic there is no other choice. Definitely worth a visit.

Caswell bay is a beautiful, sandy yet rugged bay which is very popular during busy periods. Car parking is £5.00 per day, if you cant get into the one opposite the bay there is a smaller one just up the hill. Traditional shop abd take away there and smashing little cafe where you can eat in serving good salads, paninis and... More
