Right in the heart of Swansea near the docks and harbour, this is a visit well worth making, especially if you are a fan of the Celtic Bard. You will be surprised at how small he was - a complete opposite to the size of his talent and ego! Listening to his sonorous tones as you take in display cabinet... More

I had not visited the centre for several years. Last time I was there, it had a nice little bookshop/cafe and a lovely restaurant. Both are now gone, replaced with nothing in particular. Super for wallowing in all things Thomas. Could have sat for hours listening to Under Milkwood recording. Some personal memorabilia and associated artefacts - all interesting stuff. A big screen that wasn't working (not sure what we missed). Well worth a visit.

A superb exhibition, with a film from the 1950s, telling Dylan's life story.Sympathetically done. Marvellously evocative recordings using his own voice. Parallel display devoted exclusively to 'Under Milk Wood' using memorabilia from the past 60 years. Good selection of books in the shop and an extremely helpful, knowledgeable custodian on duty at reception. The young man was American or maybe... More
