This is our third stay at the celtic Manor. The Sunday rollover is a fantastic value for money. As usual the hotel was very busy. The staff are always helpful and even the chamber maids are very pleasant. Our room as always spotless, the food delicous and plenty of it. Had a tasty breakfast before starting on our way to... I visited the spa as a birthday treat with my mother and sister. We had the 'Revitalising Escape', which included use of the spa facilities, a light lunch and a massage and facial treatment. It was really lovely. I have been to a few places offering similar packages recently and this definitely felt like the best value for money. The... More

The spa at Celtic manor is really very good. Three of us went today and had the signature massage which was just amazing (came out dribbling and slurring lol), the herbal steam temple was nice too and it left our skin feeling really good. Relaxation area was really nice. It was next to the spa reception but it wasnt an... More

I visited in August 2011 - and submitted a brief review. I have been thinking of giving it another chance - but after reading some of the recent reviews - there are still far too many negative comments regarding the quality of customer service and organisation/cleanliness of the spa. My daughter and I have since visited Ragdale Hall - the... More

Booked a Me Time Tea-time visit for myself and a girlfriend who has just taken early retirement. Just a week after I had booked, after an unexpected ultrasound, I was told I almost definitely had cancer. Reeling from the shock, I got my husband to phone Celtic Manor and ask if we could cancel or re-arrange the visit, which was... More

My experience of dealing with the Celtic Manor can only be described as a catalogue of failings. I made 2 separate group bookings for spa packages at the Forum Spa to be taken in January 2013. Both were special occasions and I was hopeful that the Celtic Manor, being a supposedly reputable resort, would come up trumps. I couldn’t have... More

I bought a spa day for my husband for Xmas. All was fine when we arrived, we were shown around and all seemed good. Then the water aerobics started with the loudest music ever, not good for a relaxing spa day. There is only a sauna by the pool, so if you want to go into steam room you have... More

Went first on December 14th with a group of girls from work, we had the thank forum its friday package which was a bargain - £59 for lunch, use of facilities, hot stone massage and facial. Treatments were lovely! We started the day early as we wanted to make use of the facilities but couldn't sit around the pool straight... More
