Not what you expect from a leading hotel and resort. Looking tired, awful smell of damp in the changing rooms. Pool was overcrowded had to wait for all the children to leave before we could use it. The relaxation room served tea or water, not even fruit infused water. Booked a spa day with friends, and weren't shown where anything... More

Been quite ill lately so I thought I'd treat myself to a nice spa session at one of my favourite spas! Had the forum signature massage with Charlotte which was amazing, I was so relaxed I nearly fell asleep! Enjoyed relaxing in the relaxation area with a cup of tea then had a lovely swim, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.... More

Not a great experience. This place needs a makeover. Some areas are very shabby. The treatments are very expensive and my massages was poor so I asked for a refund. The supervisor was very kind and understanding and agreed this. But I would have been happy to pay if it was up to standard. The facilities need to be updated... More

Booked last minute for a spa day as needed some R&R. Very pleased with everything at the Celtic Manor Forum Spa. Very welcoming & friendly staff, took the time to show me around & explain how it all worked. Fabulously relaxing facial with Kelsie, really tasty light lunch included & comfy relaxation lounge with fab views over Newport & the... More

Spa day made up of a number of treatments. Herbal steam temple, manicure & pedicure. Lovely staff members, ask polite, friendly & professional. Great swimming pool with good sized jacuzzi & small pool for children. Sauna, steam & jacuzzi in changing rooms. Free teas & water. Relaxation area overlooking the welsh valleys. Steam temple was interesting. You use an exfoliator... More

The spa is ok, a bit old and tired in places. The treatment was very good. The spa got too busy in my opinion, I went with a friend on a day package and the whole place was over full. There isn't a dark / relaxation area anywhere. The area they suggest you relax in is in a corridor! They... More

My partner and I are currently members but continue to be disappointed with the facilities - they are not what one would normally expect from a 5 star hotel. There always appears to be something not working - this week its the steam room in the women's changing facilities along with the small Jacuzzi which sits at the end of... More

Not a 5 star spa by any stretch - pool is open to kids after 3pm, relaxation area is noisy and day spa lunch was a very average buffet that had been sat around too long. My teenage daughter's massage and facial was fine, however mine was supposed to be relaxing but was anything but - a heavy-handed massage and... More

Booked this for a day out with my 22 year old daughter. Staff were friendly and treatments were fine (hot stone massage and a facial) My disappointment is linked to the shambolic organisation and penny pinching on small things. This included having to find a pound coin for the lockers; going upstairs to the dining room only to find that... More
