We have visited this park for over 45 years and spent many hours playing with our children and grandchildren. Now we come and sit on the patio to enjoy the view or if the weather isn't so good we sit in the cosy tea room and have a lovely cup of tea and homemade cakes. The park is a place... More

The park is really well maintained and I rarely see any litter or anything anywhere. It's a nice place for a lunchtime walk on a sunny day.

Despite the weather, Belle Vue Park proved to be a stunning venue for a wedding. The ceremony was held in one half of the Victorian conservatory, the other half being a coffee shop, and the photo's were taken around the bandstand to the front of the conservatory Will definitely be returning to take a longer look at the rest of... Belle Vue Park is the best and the largest park in Newport, being a great place to relax and to walk among the many beautiful plants and trees in a beautifully arranged area. Like any Victorian park, here you can find a pavilion and a tea house and even a bowling field.

This park is beautiful, it has a cafe, band stand, landscaped areas and play areas. The cafe is with a red brick Victorian building and has a space which can be rented out for private functions. The park is hilly but there are lots of paths to follow. Parking is available at the top of the park and on the... More

Easy wandering distance of centre, well kept park deceptively large with bowling green and a truly stunning tearoom-conservatory looking out at transporter bridge, has a quaint safe feel to it. Only dislike is its steep sharp pathway to the top! All the more reason for tea and cake to catch your breath!

This beautiful Victorian Park just outside the centre of the city of Newport was the perfect setting for mine and my wife's wedding photos, in October last year. My wife and I had visited the park a couple of times previously, and thought that it would be a stunning location for many of the wedding day snaps that we had... More
