Loved my trip to Roath Park - a nice change from the city life of Cardiff Centre. You can hire pedalos or rowing boats on the lake which, in my mind, is a perfect way to spend an afternoon in the sun! Nice place to relax and have fun! more

Roath park is indeed an 'oasis of calm'... unless you bring bread. An innocent plan to feed the ducks can turn into a terrifying ordeal, resembling a scene from The Birds, with not only ducks but geese, swans, seagulls, pidgeons and the odd terradactyl. You end up throwing the whole loaf into the air and fighting your way back to... more

Roath Park is a picturesque oasis just a short ride from Cardiff City centre. In the summer it is thronged with visitors and locals alike taking walks around the perimeter of the park and its lake, and in the winter it is a perfect place to stretch your legs and walk off the Sunday roast dinner.
