Although a little smaller than I had expected, we managed to spend a day around Cardiff Bay and a couple of hours here in Doctor Who geekdom. Plenty to see (I was hoping for a bit more, but that's just greedy!) Great for all ages, not just kids, if you're a fan of the show!

One of the reasons for our UK trip was to visit the Dr Who experience in Cardiff. It was definitely worth the trip. The collection of memorabilia and the interactiveness of the experience were an immediate hit with my 11 year old and me. Our senses were bombarded from the beginning and we found ourselves running from one prop to... More

My husband and I took a day trip to Cardiff just so that we could make it to the Doctor Who Experience. We are both big fans of the old and new Who. This attraction is really great for fans of the show. I enjoyed getting to check out some of the props and sets used in the filming. The... More

My daughter (19) is crazy About d'r. Who and knows them all from episode one. She was very happy that we could go to the d'r. Who's experience and spent a lot of time there. Although it was extremely hot on the first Floor.

A must for any Doctor Who fan... The staff were brilliant and it was so good once you got inside... I wanted to stay and go round for the whole day...

Awesome! What more can I say, for all Whovians it's absolutely essential. We've been to the London and Cardiff exhibitions. Cardiff is very similar but with some more recent editions. It's great that the exhibition is now in Cardiff, the home of the doctor and a stone's throw from the iconic Torchwood Tower and the Coffee Boy memorial ( Torchwood... More

My 11 year old son, my wife and I all took the trip from our South Coast base to this on our holiday from Australia. My son had been busting to go for 2 years! Despite the length of the journey, it was pretty easy to find with the sat nav and was able to part right outside the door... More

We went on the walking tour and the experience exhibitions. If you're a *fan of the Doctor or Torchwood it's worth the trip. The interactive experience was fun, for kids of all ages, and it was cool to see many of the artifacts. It's the "in real life" version of exploring the extra features on a DVD.

As a fan, this for me was one of the main attractions in Cardiff. The first part of the tour was a lot of fun, running from some of the iconic baddies of the show while helping the Doctor escape. The museum part included bits from both older and newer shows, including the insides of different TARDISes, cybermen then and... More

Well worth a visit even if you are not a Dr. Who fan. The "journey" is pitched at both young and old so therefore it is more sedate. The exhibits are fantastic and will not ruin the surprises. Highly recommended
