Although the park is not overly large, the flowering trees, sculptures, memorials, and beautiful architecture lining its borders make it well worth a visit.

Cathays Park is an integral part of Cardiff's Civic Centre. Grab yourself a welcome break and take or walk through this park. With flower beds from spring till autumn it is well layed out and colourful. There are benches but sadly not enough. Cathays park is probably the bst civic centre in the UK,the City Hall and the National Museum of Wales is a must for any visitor

Beautiful, stately and a good resting place or place to walk around, surrounded by interesting buildings and close to the University, Museum and City Hall.

Worth a stroll for an hour or so amoung the civi buildings, museum and parks in the centre of Cardiff. A quiet haven away from nthe busy shopping area and an opportunity to take in some culture too.

a lovely place to sit when we get sunshine very interesting buildings all around, only problem is parking but you can get there via buses
