Located among civic buildings and Cardiff university, grand boulevard and red tarmac road,, a small AMD well manicured garden with a few monuments, a quiet place to eat lunch on a sunny day, but that's about it, not much to see or do in there.

A smallish park in Cardiff right next to the Welsh Government offices in Cardiff. A nice quiet area with the war memorial right in the centre. You probably wouldn't stay here for too long unless you wanted to take along your lunch and simply chill out for an hour.

Although only a block square, this is a lovely place to enjoy the city center away from the traffic. The monuments are especially touching.

Situated near the National Museum,Court of Justice,Cardiff University is this nice park.It is not so vast so one can visit it in a short time span too.The central part is Alexandra park named on a Queen's name.Well maintained ,clean and beautiful grassy park .

Every time I take my grandson to the Meuseum we end up having lunch and play at the park, it is very quiet and pleasant park, specially in the summer, with so many beautiful buildings near. Also it is so close to town centre!!!

Best collection of quality architecture you'll ever encounter. Take the time to walk the whole area before visiting the museum.

I had the good fortune to work for a couple of year in Cardiff near the National Museum. This park was my favourite lunchtime walk in all winds and weather as the Park is very well managed and offers interesting and dry walking throughout most of the year.

Cathays Park is a beautiful park tucked away behind the City Hall and is perfect for a spot of lunch in the summer.
