Eddies Diner

Good restaurant with great American atmosphere. Good menu choice. Music is great. Gives you that 1950's feel.

Just a few shops, mainly restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Bit disappointing. OK if you are going to eat, not much for sightseeing.

The only trouble you'll have here is deciding where you want to eat, all the usual standard eateries but with a nice view over the bay, you can also jump on a taxi boat to take you into the City Centre. It was a bit quiet as we were here in November but I can imagine in the middle of... More

Well worth a trip down to Mermaid Quay when in Cardiff, large selection of pubs and bars as well as restaurants. There is a fabulous chip shop eat in or takeaway, lovely place to wander and enjoy the views. Beware the windy aspect in winter and wrap up well.

Located on the bay waterfront the Quay has a good selection of bars and restaurants but I had expected a little more in terms of shops and outlets. Simply there are not too many of those. If you want a restaurant or a night out at a bar then it's a good choice but there isnt much more than that.

Lots of different eateries all established on a couple of short streets around the waters edge. Some restaurants upstairs. Good selection but mostly chain restaurants. Nice way to spend an evening eating and drinking. Plenty of taxis parked up to take you back to your hotel. Cost us just short of £6 to get back to Mecure Holland House Hotel.
