The museum, in the beautiful and historic Old Library building, is rich in stories, objects, photographs and film telling the history of Cardiff through the eyes of those who created the city – its people. « less

Stopped by the tourist information office to get brochures and decided to look in on The Cardiff Story. The displays were informative but many did not have sound interpretations. Also I found a little hard to follow the order of the topics

We were at a loss for what to do before catching a train home, so this seemed like a good option. There were some cool features, like a film exhibit based on residents talking about the history of certain objects and how they represented life in Cardiff. My favorite part of the exhibit was the old library entrance that was... More

Loved it. Wasn't expecting to be blown away but I was. Great to see much more history of my hometown. Great for the kids as interactive.

Place to learn a little local history with plenty to see and read in a small area. Free and worth checking out if you are in Cardiff.

Plenty to do in the free museum, so much for little ones too, you can easy spend over and hour looking at the Cardiff History, I loved it, so did my grandson, who is 3.

It was not working the day we were there. Sounded as though it had been down for quite a while. Odd for such an informative visitor attraction.

I was very impressed with all the 'hands on' (touch screen etc) displays - children will love this! It was very informative and staff are nearby to answer any questions. It was my first visit to Cardiff and definitely a 'must' to visit.
