In our fun, free and interactive galleries, discover how Cardiff was transformed from the small market town of the 1300s, to one of the world's biggest ports in the 1900s, to the cool, cosmopolitan capital we know today. Great taster to history of the City. A large room with some interactive equipment and large information panels and talking heads. Nice touches to put the messages across. Thoroughly enjoyed the film on objects of note from the city - don't miss this as the people's stories are lovely and well worth the telling. Great place to spend an hour... More

The story of Cardiff with interactive technology. I especially enjoyed the stories told by the older residents of Cardiff, a great view into their lives in the past. Great for families and singles.

Myself (30) and my mum (60) visited and it was fantastic. The movie showing all different Welsh trades was great-highly recommend.

It was just one of those typical modern stadia with no or little atmosphere. Drinks, food really expensive. Stadium is in the middle of a retail park so my advise is use the McDonalds, Greggs or other fast food outlets around.

Slap bang in the middle of Cardiff's shopping streets you will find the Cardiff Story. On one side accessBle thru the TIC, on the other side it has it's own door. A lift is available. There is a lot to see: how C. came to be, how/when it was built and extended, who lived there, what did these people do,... More
