I liked that it said what age each pillar came from (15th century) and you were allowed to watch the services and listen to the priest. The worker who sold bibles was very friendly too.
its a place of unspoilt beauty if you like cathedrals then this is one of the best places for you to visit, been visiting for 30yrs since i was a child.love going back year after year and always visit the cathedral
As noted elsewhere, several of the reviews are not related to the cathedral in Cardiff, but a different church altogether. TA have been advised. As for St David's in Cardiff: it's a small cathedral, but very pleasant and as it's right in the centre of town (just off Queen St) why not call in?
Don't miss this beautiful place. The inside of the cathedral is magnificent and the outside grounds are spectacular . Lots of walking and stairs to get there. But worth the effort.

St Davids is more like a large Parish Church, for locals more than tourists. Nevertheless I was welcomed there when attending Mass. It is fairly simply decorated and has a calm that is very welcome.
Unfortunaley when i went i had to leave early due to bbc concert. I had lunch here which was tasty and i enjoyed looking a the paintings around the resaurant. Exploring the cathedral and learning about its heritage was enjoyable. Lovely ice cream too!
St Davids Cathedral, Charles St is the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Cardiff city centre. Llandaff Cathedral is Anglican in the suburb/village/city of Llandaff to the North of Cardiff. Of course there is also St David's Cathedral in the smallest city of St Davids out in west Wales. Confused yet?
