This is a beautiful site. The choir boys had just finished rehearsing when we got there and the organist was playing. There was a welcome sign on the door and entry was free. The weekend away was made perfect the moment I entered the Cathedral. The welcome was wonderful. The music and singing way above expectation and the new organ so beautifully crafted and played told a story of its own. Sung Eucharist, not too early of a Sunday morning, 11.00am, with the Archdeacon preaching was a delight which will never leave me....

Easy parking and not too far to walk to the Cathedral. Breathtaking inside and outside. Set into a lovely village, well worth a visit.
Evensong on Good Friday was amazing! We arrived early enough to explore the cathedral before the service. Fascinating history, and the singing we heard was beautiful.
