People working at the Tourist Information Centre were really kind and helpful. You can take free maps of the city there. Also, they suggest buying a Cardiff Visitor card that gives you discounts at some cafes and places. Also, there's a good choice of souvenirs there.

I have today seen an ad for this events in a local magazine published several weeks ago with full details and... More

We went round and round in circles following the signs but couldn't find you! Better luck in the Bay where we got the information we needed.

The Cardiff Tourist Information Centre is conveniently located in the centre of the city occupying the old county library and sandwiched between the St David's Hall and the city's old covered market. The Centre's staff are knowledgable about the city and its attractions. Cardiff souvenirs and books about the city and area available to buy. The Centre has an extensive... More

Not what I was expecting as it was in the Cardiff Bay but is there a tourist information centre in the city center. If there is its not located well within sight easily. Service and advice is ok, a little on the small side.

Obviously at the time of writing, we were visiting the information centre in the Millenium Centre. People there were very friendly and informative and loads of literature for the tourist.

A city without a Tourist Information Centre!! Centre being the operative word. This was a fantastic service right in the centre of Cardiff, right where it was needed. It was always busy and the staff were brilliant. I was in here every couple of weeks to pick up books of maps for the hotel where I work and now we... More

I had some difficulty locating this as it had moved from central Cardiff to the Bay. However when I found it the staff member I spoke to could not have been more helpful. I got an excellent walking and cycling map which is very useful and general advice about the area, city and what's on.

What is going to happen to Cardiff tourism in the future when the main tourist information centre in the centre of Cardiff closes at the end of March? Visitors to the Capital aren't going to travel down to Cardiff Bay for information. I feel so sorry for the highly qualified and efficient staff who will lose their jobs as a... More
