Went to Penarth on yellow water taxi which cost £2-00 each way to see the barrage which was brilliant and worth every penny and the owner Steve was a mind of information More

There are fossils to be found right under penarth headland cliffs. Park in barage car park but walk right instead of left towards the barrage. What a pity. The Bay could have been amazing but planners have allowed a hotch potch of designs. The whole area just doesn't 'work'. More

you can do literally anything at the barrage! there a loads of really nice restaurants and ice cream and treat shops. There is also the millenium centre, rides for the children and on some days a market is held selling all sorts of international food. you can also do watersports and go on speed boat rides.
