My 10 year old daughter had a wonderful time at Techniquest. She liked the giant piano (like in the movie Big) and also enjoyed the gravity section. Well worth a visit

Great for big kids. Myself and my husband and sister visited Techniques. We went to the demonstration science show. It was very interesting with experiments using a vacumn cleaner, toilet and microwave oven. The kids watching enjoyed it too. We had a go with the various games and there was a game using keyhole surgery techniques on a magnified screen... More

My partner and I popped in for a browse to escape the hailstones and had hours of fun!!! Lots of kids running around us, but sometimes helpful as they were able to tell us how things worked lol. It's been a while since I did any physics but it was a great reminder of our wonderful world of science. Can't... More

"who knew science was so much fun" was the quote from one of our year 5 pupils! The show in the auditorium was especially brilliant - with the children really getting involved in an array of great experiments. We stayed in the Urdd City Sleepover - which is just across the road from here, and they arranged our visit to... More

Visited here half term with my mother 68years & 10 year old daughter. There was lots to see and do and I think my mum and I enjoyed it more than my daughter! Great whole day experience and an ideal place to go if the British weather is bleak!

Great place for kids if you visit Cardiff but slightly more than I expected (price wise). Main thing is that the kids enjoyed themselves so we'll probably be back. Great location (Cardiff bay) Big car park opposite which was reasonably priced.

The adults, 11yr and 7yr were captivated for the 3hrs we stayed at Techniquest. Lots of experiments, hands-on activities to do keep them entertained, amused and "look at that" for the duration. There are a number of shows. cool science was part of the entry and the kids loved volunteering. the planetarium was excellent and very interesting. £28 for a... More

Great place to spend a couple of hours when you have children - plenty to keep them interested. Especially liked the Science Show - where the subject was "Cool" Science - all about the cold.
