I hadn't been to Techniquest for approximately 20 years since visiting on a school trip and my only memory was the 'floating ball'. On this visit you may think I was disappointed to see the floating ball again, but I was thrilled. As it is the first exhibit you see, it immediately captured the attention of my 7 year old... More

Brought many children here over the years and at the last visit although most kids were enjoying themselves several of the hands on exhibits were not working or looked tatty. Cafe was disappointing and served the usual stuff. Had a recent facelift but needs more.

We were going to use Tesco vouchers to visit this place until I went on their website and read that in November and December after 2pm on a Sunday, entry is £3 each. We took our 2 boys aged 5 and 3 (under 3 is free) they both loved that they could run around and touch everything! We spent almost... More

Whilst on a weekend break in Cardiff we visited Techniquest on the Sunday afternoon. What a brilliant place for all kids little and grown up alike. My little boy loved all the things that you could touch and make do things, my daughter was enjoyed exploring why things do what they do and my wife and I enjoyed doing both... More

This is a joint review from my 9 year old son and myself. At Techniquest, there is lots of creative things to do and experience for children and adults. My three favourite things to do were playing on an epic drum kit, building your own skyscraper out of wooden Jenga blocks and the optical illusion. We went to a planetarium... More

We bought a family ticket which equals to £5 pp which wasn't too bad. We visited on a Saturday and it wasn't too overcrowded. We booked on for a show at 2pm but after being there an hour and half the children had been on everything a few times and were bored. We could t wait the half an hour... More

We had a great time here, some very interesting interactive exhibits. We were struggling with one of the challenges when a member of staff came over to work with us - my granddaughter loved it.

This was much enjoyed by our two boys aged 7 and 3. Although it was very very busy (half term) they still got to have a go on all of the exhibits. Definitely worth the money.
