We had a great evening, although my feet are used to me sitting all day - so I would recommend good walking boots to anyone else with a desk job! Quite a few people, mainly women, were spooked by the eerie atmosphere and mistook insects and creaking branches for ghostly horses and strangers standing nearby, but this all added to... More

It is very easy to reach Llandaff by bus from central Cardiff as you ask to get off at The Black Lion bus stop and it is a short walk to Llandaff Cross. I would say to have something to eat before setting off to Llandaff as we only found a Chinese Takeaway serving food after 6pm or The Maltings... More

We went on this walk with friends. It turned out to be the ideal night for it, cold, dark and with the mist rising over the fields from the Taff river. The guide was excellent and highly informative. The whole experience was extremely good and I could not recommend it enough. An excellent blend of history and story telling.

My boyfriend, parents and I took this tour and found it more geared for children than adults. We were expecting this to be a walking tour, highlighting some of the sights of Landaff village, but found the tour took place mainly in fields and parks around the village, where we stood stationary with many gnats and mosquitos biting, listening to... Dear Jenn I am sorry that you did not enjoy the tour format, and the way it builds the intrigue of the ghost stories as the evening goes on. To be fair, the website for the walk does describe the nature of the route, which is along medieval roadways (now footpaths) in some places and other locations specifically chosen because... More

We didn't really know what to expect of the ghost walk, but it turned out te be a very fun, though creepy evening and we're looking forward to doing more of them. The surroundings created a good atmosphere and John is a born storyteller!

After living in Cardiff for my whole life, and being something of a history fanatic, I thought I knew most of what there was to know about my home town - I was wrong! I've been meaning to take this ghost walk for years, but never got around to it until tonight. Do not pay attention to the negative reviews... More

Went on this tour a few months ago , just got around to doing a review. I really liked the margam park ghost tour by the same company thought it was brilliant. I love llandaff so was looking forward to this one. However the story teller John lost the thread alot and repeated himself , i found his story telling... More

Dear Cathedral88, I am sorry you found the Llandaff Ghost Walk disappointing. I'm not quite sure what must have happened on the night you did the tour because, as you can see from the other reviews and, from my own experience when accompanying him, the stories and the guide have been highly thought of for some time. I suppose we... More

We booked this as a way to spend a Saturday evening and enjoyed it. The tour guide was interesting, however much of the tour depends on the group. Our group was very interactive with one very skittish member and that just added to the fun. Even if you don't believe in ghosts, the tour is well worth it for the... More

Dear reddogmommy. Thank you so much for your review, and I am delighted you had a fun evening. The public transportation back to the city centre is always an issue, especially in the summer when the tours have to start later because of the late sunset times. However, we always try and ensure the tours finish in plenty of time... More

The surroundings are beautiful, and we were a small group of people, which made it a bit easier to keep us together. John is a brilliant story teller, I got completely hooked on every word he said. It was really entertaining, hair rising, fantastic adventure. John is now doing the Cardiff Castle walk so guess where I'm going next ^^
