I took my 4 year old here for the 'Robots Rock' presentation. Ok - neither of us were wowed by this bit - it could have been much more awesome. BUT she loved going from room to room exploring the activities and trying to figure things out, watching other kids solving puzzles, running through the mirror maze with total strangers... More

I recently took a large group of children and adults to Techniquest Glyndwr and we had an excellent time. The party was hosted by a wonderful member of staff who catered for our every request. The children (between 4 and 10 years old) were made to feel very welcome and they found each exhibit to be of interest. The show... More

Thanks for taking the trouble to post a review about us. We do change a few of our interactive exhibits on a regular basis and we change our live shows every month, so if the weather's not good again when you are looking for a place to go we are sure you will have some more fun with us! More

Visited Autumn Half Term after having been to the main Cardiff site in the Summer. Was slightly disappointed with the fact that the site is split into two buildings so if you have more than one child if one wants to move buildings, everyone has to go. Rooms were also fairly small so as it was half term they were... More

Thank you for taking the trouble to post your review. We can understand that you might be disappointed with our site compared to our sister organisation down in Cardiff - but then they have lots of floors in a big space in Cardiff Bay, whilst we have our 5 zones all on the same level (although in 2 different buildings!).... Three children aged 2, 7 and 9 were fully occupied at Techniquest. No bored kids here! We arrived at 10am with a voucher enabling us to have 20% off, which meant we paid just over £16. Every area we went to had activities to entertain all of us, children and adults alike. Not only were they fun but very educational... More

Been today with a class of 24 (2nd year running but with different children). A great place for a school trip. Try to fit in the extras (lego/light/sound shows). Kids had a blast and learnt tons! Organised really well. See you next year!!

Lots of interesting experiments and puzzles for both adults and children. Staff on hand to help if you wanted to cheat in completing the challenges. Science show twice a day, very educational. There is an area which has tables & chairs but no food available to purchase, only coffee capsules for use in a machine. If you don't take your... More

Thanks for your helpful and accurate review of Techniquest Glyndwr. As you say people can either buy their own lunch/snack at the neighbouring Plas Coch Retail area in Wrexham and bring it in to our centre or bring their own picnic. During warm weather the outdoor area is quite attractive to picninc in. We are talking with the University about... More

We were there today, with my two lads who are 10 and 11 years old. £21 entrance fee for two kids and two adults seems very good value considering they were occupied for 4+ hours; a current record for our two! Plus, they have a dining area where you can bring your own food, which is not a bad idea... More

Went there with two grandchildren aged 8yrs and 13yrs. It`s really hard to find places for different ages to enjoy. This place is brilliant, even for adults. We spent hours here and half way through went to a show upstairs about flying. Everyone enjoyed it and some of the children took part. There is a little shop there selling drinks,... More

I visited yesterday with my 22 month old son having been told by a member of staff from techniquest that the attraction was suitable for my son's age and in fact they regularly hold toddler days. After it taking ten minutes for the receptionist to process my ticket we wen't off to explore what was on offer, the exhibits seemed... More

We are sorry about your less than satisfactory visit to Techniquest Glyndwr. Clearly we weren't up to scratch. Normally the ticket/entry process is very quick although sometimes when presented with an unusual offfer/concession by a visitor it can take a while to verify the terms of the deal. We apologise for that if that was the case. As was mentioned... More
