Good for little science buffs!

We went with our 3 boys aged 11, 9 & 8 who although love science are easily bored. However no sign of boredom here as they had a great time having a go at all the exhibits! I was... read more

Techniquest kept my kids entertained for approx 1-2 hours, I thought it was a bit pricey considering.... alot of other similar government lead attractions are free such as museums.

We went with our 3 boys aged 11, 9 & 8 who although love science are easily bored. However no sign of boredom here as they had a great time having a go at all the exhibits! I was a bit bemused at first at paying over £25 for us to go round a few rooms but 2 and a... More

Accompanied a group of children celebrating a birthday. So many little faces lit up when we were taken into a room full of puzzles. The walk through a hall of mirrors was a delight. Then we had a demonstration of water activities using the birthday boy and a couple of his friends as "volunteers." More activities followed, all of which... More

Some very interesting experiments for the kids to try. The best being making the brass bowl sing and the water dance. Our 7 year old loved most things, creating a very short moving picture show, working out how to unlock a gate, moving blocks from one place to another in the least number of moves etc. we had expected to... Took my 2 boys age 8 & 4 and they had a great day, highlight was the hall of mirrors, there is also lots of activities fro all ages, a gift shop which is reasonably priced and they put on mini shows with audience participation.

An excellent place to visit with youngsters, so many different applications for them to use and learn. Full marks.

I took my 4 year old here for the 'Robots Rock' presentation. Ok - neither of us were wowed by this bit - it could have been much more awesome. BUT she loved going from room to room exploring the activities and trying to figure things out, watching other kids solving puzzles, running through the mirror maze with total strangers... More

Thanks for your review - Sorry the Robots didn't rock for you and your daughter. Maybe Frosty Science will do the trick next time when you come using your wristband offer. I am sure you'll find the staff next time will be equally enthusiastic because they just love what they do!! You may find it more straightforward if you come... More

I recently took a large group of children and adults to Techniquest Glyndwr and we had an excellent time. The party was hosted by a wonderful member of staff who catered for our every request. The children (between 4 and 10 years old) were made to feel very welcome and they found each exhibit to be of interest. The show... More

Thanks for taking the trouble to post a review about us. We do change a few of our interactive exhibits on a regular basis and we change our live shows every month, so if the weather's not good again when you are looking for a place to go we are sure you will have some more fun with us! More

Visited Autumn Half Term after having been to the main Cardiff site in the Summer. Was slightly disappointed with the fact that the site is split into two buildings so if you have more than one child if one wants to move buildings, everyone has to go. Rooms were also fairly small so as it was half term they were... More

Thank you for taking the trouble to post your review. We can understand that you might be disappointed with our site compared to our sister organisation down in Cardiff - but then they have lots of floors in a big space in Cardiff Bay, whilst we have our 5 zones all on the same level (although in 2 different buildings!)....
