William Aston Hall puts on lots of productions in the theatre from pantomimes, tribute acts to comedians. Based on Mold Road so convenient for car users or bus/train users.

Been here a couple of times to see live comedy. Big venue, allocated seating - the only downside of seating is if you're behind someone tall as you're all on the same level so you can feel you're regularly moving you're head left and right. But as most performers move around, it's not a huge problem. People complain about parking... More

I have been visiting here for many years, mainly for classical music concerts. It is a good venue, but always a problem getting parked if you are near to the event time. Getting out again is always a push and shove affair, both on foot and on the car. Again a bit of a squash getting refreshments before and in... More

saw quite a few good shows here, jason manford tops the lot. not a massive hall, but adequate for wrexham area. based on uni campus but doesnt feel like you are. bar in there is overpriced, but thats normal for anywhere that shows live entertainment. check out there website for upcoming shows!

Went to see comedian Rich Hall at this venue, part of Glyndwr University. A fantastic night out. As chester currently lacks a theatre or quality comedy club we usually end up going to Liverpool or Manchester for gigs. But this is a great alternative and a short drive away. There's plenty of free parking right by the building, getting out... More

Been to a few gigs here now, including Al Murray & Adam Hills, fantastic little venue, with great acoustics & view, even from the back. Its showing its age a bit now though, but nothing that couldn't be sorted very easily, but don't let that put you off, its always packed when i go. Look forward to attending many more... More

We went to see Bellowhead at the William Aston Hall on Friday the 15.11.2013. The facilities were excellent. Car Parking was free and easy to access and depart at the end of the performance. The entrance area was clean and tidy. The Theatre and Stage were ideal for the concert. I'd recommend it and I will not hesitate to attend... More

My Wife and I have over the years enjoyed numerous performances taking in a wide variety of shows, from comedions to ballet, and vocalists to the fantastic "Circus of Horrors" which I notice is returning later this year.once seen never forgotten, very comfortable seating and a well stocked bar for pre and interval refreshment. Highly recomended. Also on the site of... More
