We booked North Wales Active for a gorge walk for 2 adults and 2 twelve year olds. Absolutely brilliant, we all loved it. Jamie was excellent, relaxed, very professional and knowledgeable, inspired confidence and trust. He gauged each of our abilities and very gently pushed each of us to feel like we had achieved something. Totally recommended - I will... More

Were in Snowdonia my 16 yr old daughter and I. trying to book activities and Catherine managed to book us in for coasteering or climbing. As sea was choppy Jamie suggested climbing and we headed to a good climbing area near Llanberis. As both me and my daughter had some climbing experience, Jamie treated us to an impromptu class in... decided to go last minute on our stag weekend , Catherine managed to squeeze us in , we opted for absailing and ghyll scrambling, non of which we had done before . both I can highly recommend , the absailing was high but we felt very safe at all times and Catherine was an excellent instructor and explained all about... 7 of us arrived to be met by Tom at the base of the gorge. All equipment was provided and we kitted up and set off. The sights we saw were unreal, nothing you would experience unless you were Gorge walking. Professional, friendly staff- providing us with local knowledge and a thoroughly enjoyable day, we will be coming back in... More

A group of 5 novices have just had a great experience of gorge walking. We were taken out by Jamie to do Gorge 1 which gave us a really good insight to the experience. It was great to do something exhilarating and still appreciate the welsh countryside. Equipment was all provided and well worth the money knowing that you have... More

We had booked to go coasteering for the first time, but when we arrived and met Tim he thought the sea would be too rough so he took us Gorge walking instead (gorge 1)! You get soaking wet, freezing cold, laughed at and dunked! You will have the best time! Felt like kids again (in our forties), climbing rocks and... More

As a family of four, children aged 11 and 14, we had our own instructor for each activity. We tried kayaking, abseiling, gorge walking and coasteering. We found it challenging, out of our comfort zone, but we had a real sense of achievement and lots fun on the activities. Super instructors friendly, knowledgeable and did not make us jump in!
