My visit to the mine eas about 5 years ago, and I found it interesting, enjoyable and informative. Ideal for the damp and miserable days, because the trip is all under ground. I think that the mine is well worth a visit, and shall no doubt visit it again when I am next on holiday in North Wales. more

The Sygun Copper Mine is a fun place to visit, particularly for those with children. (As long as they are not afraid of dark spaces!) Wearing a hard hat, you walk to the mine entrance and down the dripping dank tunnels at your own pace, making your tour as long (or short) as you want. Every so often you reach... more
