Great spot to view Lighthouse and good views of the birds. RSPB staff helpful and enthusiastic about the wildlife. Plenty of information and binoculars available.

Staffed by very knowledgeable staff whose enthusiasm was infectious. They also had endless patience with the children when they accidently knocked the telescope while viewing the birds.

The Ellin's tower is a must for who likes nature and birds in particular. Free entrance with suggested donation. They make available to public telescopes and binocular, so you can spot beautiful birds and if you're lucky grey seals and porpoises. The place is managed by RBSP and it has been thought even for child visits. Worth a quick visit.

As already stated, manned by friendly and knowledgeable staff, - basically a set of internal stairs leading to a large room with windows on 3 sides and binoculars for use to admire the views - mainly birds, but cliffs, sea, some boats , the lighthouse of course and anything else visible in the area. There is a car park further... More

So good to be able to watch the birds in close up on webcam and through telescopes and binoculars. Really helpful knowlesgable volunteers. Only drawback is the stairs to reach the viewing room.

Great views, knowledgeable RSPB staff, binoculars and zoom cameras available for a close up view. A must visit for bird watchers and wild life lovers. Lovely walk to get to the tower, although do not use the cliff path if you have no head for heights.
