Spectacular position near South Stack lighthouse. Amazing views of the cliffs and the birds as well as the lighthouse. Very easy access from either of the car parks and a cafe on the nearby road. Also has an RSPB shop which is very well stocked. Inside the Tower there is just one room but it is equipped with binoculars and... More

Just a short walk from the RSPB centre and you get some great views from the tower. It's manned by some RSPB members who are very keen and knowledgable. They have sets of telescopes out pointed towards some of the more interesting birds species in the area and some you'd never see otherwise. Plenty of diagrams, pictures and exhibits around... More

Staffed by very knowledgeable staff whose enthusiasm was infectious. They also had endless patience with the children when they accidently knocked the telescope while viewing the birds.

The Ellin's tower is a must for who likes nature and birds in particular. Free entrance with suggested donation. They make available to public telescopes and binocular, so you can spot beautiful birds and if you're lucky grey seals and porpoises. The place is managed by RBSP and it has been thought even for child visits. Worth a quick visit.

As already stated, manned by friendly and knowledgeable staff, - basically a set of internal stairs leading to a large room with windows on 3 sides and binoculars for use to admire the views - mainly birds, but cliffs, sea, some boats , the lighthouse of course and anything else visible in the area. There is a car park further... More
