We drive out to South Stack and were amazed at the stunning views even for this time of year. Great to find the RSPB shop open with cafe and toilets. Great walk round the headland although very rocky. A must for all those who enjoy fab scenery

For anyone visiting Northwest Anglesey this is not to be missed. Park by the RSPB cafe and walk along a narrow, sandy path to Ellin's Tower. From here the view is spectacular. The RSPB staff are on hand to show visitors anything particularly interesting and there are binoculars positioned for use. The best part of all is the camera action from... More

The Lighthouse was closed on the day that we went due to bad weather but you could still see it from the cliffs above. It is on my list of things to do when I return to Anglesey! We went for a walk along the cliffs and headed towards the North Stack. The scenery was beautiful, the routes were well... More

Having driven up the west side of the Island and being not impressed it was good to stop here and get the wind in your hair and walk along the gorse covered cliffs watching the seabirds, the crashing waves on the rugged rocks and the vast expanse of the Atlantic stretched out before you. After a refreshing bit of exercise... More

The staff were helpful and informative. The parking was easy, free and catered well for the disabled. The cafe was good and reasonably priced.

We have visited South Stack many times over the years and had always thought the big let down was the cafe, typical greasy spoon with unhelpful staff. Therefore when we realised that the RSPB were now in charge what a difference! Light airy surroundings, acceptably priced food & drink with helpful staff. Just what is required when the weather is... Great place to go if you are in the area. Nice cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks and a small RSBP shop. The visitor centre is set about a 5 min walk from the cafe and the shop and it's got knowledgable and helpful staff in there happy to talk about the area and the wildlife found around... More
