Easter Family Holiday

The best pub in Conwy, no TV, no music, excellent staff. A good range of beers, wines also serve teas & coffee and different nibbles, we always meet new people when we go in.

Love the Albion, visit it everytime I am in Conwy.(20 times a year plus) Beer is fantastic and the apmoshere is always very friendly. The only slight criticism I have and it it is slight because I do enjoy the place very much. My last couple of visits there have been quite a few children in the pub, I am... More

I love this place. We stay regularly (well twice a year) in Conwy and there's nothing better on a late afternoon to pop in for a few drinks. The staff are always friendly and eager to help with a suggestion if you can't decide what to have. I looked at the negative reviews (one of which was dated the same... More

Perfect pub as it was in 1930's. Great range of beers and ciders to try. Great snacks from the award winning Edwards Butcher in Conwy. Roaring fires and dog friendly. What more could you want?

We were recommended a few pubs to try in Conwy and ventured into another of them before quickly deciding to escape give The Albion a try. SO glad we did - it was the perfect venue to wile away an afternoon with a group of friends, in front of a roaring fire with the rugby on and a great crowd... More

I haven't discovered anywhere with such attentive friendly service - and that's in addition to the wonderful range of beers which the staff understand and will let you sample. Gorgeous open fire and nice atmosphere - no music! Absolutely first class.

Definitely the best pub that I've found so far for ale not only in Conwy but in this part of North Wales. The food selection is quite basic - nice pies, pickled eggs and crisps pretty much sums it up - but there are plenty of places to eat nearby so there are no excuses for going hungry in Conwy.... The ale, cider and snack food par excellence are served by staff who could not be more helpful. Thank you Joe for an enjoyable lunchtime. The experience is bettered by the fact that there is no TV or canned music, dogs are welcome and they get on together (because the guests do) and children are tolerated (because they should be)... This great pub set within the walls of Conwy on Uppergate Street is an absolute must for anyone who likes the whole micro pub, real ale scene. They have a great selection of hand pulled draught ales and beers as well as ciders. My dad settled for a bottle of wine which they kept behind the bar whilst we went... More

Whereas I am lucky enough to have a superb real ale pub as my local, for my birthday myself and some friends decided to pop over to Conwy for a change. The Albion is a superb real ale pub. It can get crowded at times (testament to its quality) but if you appreciate quality ales, this is a place you... More
