This place has everything you need for a fun day out with a young family. Space to run about, ride-on toys (even adult size), woodland walks, tree house, fairy princess, train ride, animals, picnic areas, etc, etc. A very imaginative set up, with many little surprises. Information boards about wildlife and a model railway. A real gem of a place.

Found Gypsy Wood Park by chance when looking for places that accepted Tesco clubcard vouchers in the vicinity of our holiday cottage. What a find! Our little girl loved it as did our friends young daughter who we met there. Arrived at opening time and left around 2.30pm only because they were shattered, we didn't get to see the far... More

Visited with grandchildren who did not want to leave. What a change from the usual family orientated places that normally charge extra for activities. I think this is one of the best kept secrets in the UK and I know that by writing this review, other people will want to visit. The value for money was excellent and the planning... More

This is a great little place, full of character and lots to do. Theres loads of animals which are healthy and well looked after. There is an amazing model train set and a train which goes around the park. Plenty of picnic areas and nice walks. We took our 4 year old and he really enjoyed it.

Took my daughter (nearly 2 years old) and she had fun. I was pleasantly suprised myself, plenty to do and quite enjoyed the train ride and the animals. I will certainly be coming back on a sunny day this summer

Lovely day out with my 2 year old and his grandparents. Fabulous miniature railway that you can control and a ride on train ride which was ran by a lovely member of staff. You can feed a variety of animals and discover instruments, the fairy queen and go karts! Beware the wetlands walk is not suitable for normal shoes! Recommend... More

Many thanks for your review! We are so pleased to hear you had a lovely day and had fun playing with the trains! A great tip for people to bring their wellies for the Wetland Walk if we have had a few days of rain, and a good idea to use your Tesco Clubcard Vouchers! More

Took my 2 daughters aged 3 and 8 to Gypsy Wood park whilst staying in a caravan park in North Wales over the Easter break. Gypsy Wood was very easy to find, and was very reasonably priced for a family ticket. For children below around the age of 10, you'd struggle to find a better day out for them. The... More

Took my three young grandchildren here with my family. They really enjoyed the day. It's well worth a visit if you have young children under the age of around 7

We took a six years old boy and four year old girl. They both enjoyed it. He loved the huge model railway and playing musical instruments. She loved the animals and meeting the faerie and got a beautiful face painting for £3.50. There's loads and loads of things to do and see. A top day out for the kids
