Visited gardens on Saturday Sept 26th. Decided to join the guided walk of the nature reserve. Guide Jennifer Pitts was very good, and showed photographs of flowers that grew on different parts of the reserve----If we had come earlier in the year we would have seen them growing. The gardens are beautiful & well lais out,the glasshouse is tremendous. The food is also good in the lovely cafe and the staff are wonderful. Had a lovely morning in the gardens, went for lunch and was extremely disappointed. We ordered "cawl" and got a rather sickly soup. So underrated as an attraction. Easy to get to so much to see and so much space...beautiful views and fantastic plants of all descriptions. Highly recommended. more
