We stopped off here as we always like to break our journey home from Devon about halfway. Strangers to the area we did have trouble finding a nearby car park, but found the property following the finger posts, as there are no brown signs for it. The house is not too large, but we just caught the start of a... More

Fabulous place to visit, a place that most people walk past without a second glance but make sure you visit and definitely have a cream tea in the garden. Lovely staff and very helpful volunteers.

Tucked away in Worcester, once you enter you step back to a story that will hold you all your time there. Well worth a visit, not large but very interesting, visit the tea rooms (lovely refreshments) and garden. The summer house has a wall hanging that has to be seen. Lovely.

This is a small property with some interesting items visited on a warm, sunny afternoon. I enjoyed the visit but the volunteers while they were knowledgeable, as other reviewers have noted, were almost overbearing in their enthusiasm, not content to leave me to make the tour with the guidebook. Some of them were also extremely loud which added a further... More

The Greyfriars was much more interesting than we thought, the house has a nice garden and so is a nice place for a coffee. The volunteers were very knowledgeable but didn't bore you with loads of details, just enough to give you a feel for the history of the place. Very enjoyable.

I was wondering around Worcester and stumbled across this beautiful house. Fortunately I had my national trust card with me. A gem of a place and the staff are marvellous. It was a sunny spring afternoon so I had clotted cream tea in the garden £3.50 a bargain Heaven on earth

Very knowledgeable volunteers with a passion for the history behind the property. I have visited Worcester for shopping many times in the past (later 70's early 80's) and it was lovely to discover this gem from the past

Go and visit as this is a fine building and staffed by very helpful and friendly National Trust volunteers yes they stand there all day and help visitors like us for nothing other than the pleasure. Take a tour to see the original old stair case behind a very small door so must have been difficult to walk around such... More

Have been wanting to visit this place for a while & we certainly picked a nice day to visit. This year we were told, they have changed things insofar that in the mornings a guide takes you through all the rooms and finishes off in the garden .The volunteer Roger was very competent & gave an interesting “potted history” of... Arrived on a beautiful sunny day with 3 children aged 8, 8 and 9 after playing in the lovely grounds a lovely lady popped up and asked if I would like a drink ? Who is going to say no to s cup of tea ? The kids were then let to wonder the stunning Tudor house while I sat... More
