The Mayfly Cafe at Cob House Fisheries is a fantastic place to stop off on your travels or for the day with plenty for all the family. Set in 45 Acres with panoramic views from the cafe you can watch the kids play on the timber trail play area or the activity meadow. We have 5 Reindeer, 4 Alpacas, 2 Pigs, 7 Goats and feathered friends to visit for FREE! There are 9 fishing pools open for day ticket offering both match and pleasure fishing. Lots of walks, why not bring a kite to fly or a ball to play football out in the grounds? Location is delightful - eating area lovely and spacious with great views. Animals to keep the kids happy - basic play area but not suitable for young children. We thought we could combine the visit with a walk around the surrounding area but we were not allowed to do this in case we disturbed the folks fishing - this cut... More

Visited with my partner, his brother, wife & 2 year old little boy. We had Sunday carvery, haggis - as it was Burn's night. The meal was lovely. We had a fun afternoon looking at the animals. Wellies are essential as it is muddy. It's a good venue for families with young children

We had a lovely run out to this attraction, the views in this area are fantastic, and we visited the Dovecote nearby, a National Trust attraction at Wichenford. Fun counting the number of nesting boxes! We had pre-booked our lunch at the Mayfly Cafe where the carvery is outstanding value. Just as well, they were very busy, clearly a very... More

Living local (worcester) to Cob House we regularly go there with our two boys aged 5 and 2 just to get them out in the fresh air. The animals are enjoyed as well as flying kites. The cafe is great with plenty of room and decent food. A nice free place to spend a few hours chilling with your children.

Visited here with our one year old, last weekend. Lots of grass area, for our little one to roam around, on his newly found feet! He liked seeing the Reindeer, the goats and especially the big pigs, Molly and Minty! Great as entry to wander around is free. Lots of Chickens and ducks and geese wandering around freely. The lakes... More

Have to totally disagree with last few comments. There was five of us with children's ranging from 2-4. Weather was nice. Loads of reindeers, goats and pigs. Alpacas etc. And a great cafe... Cannot fault it as it's FREE! It's what fun you make it.

Visited today with our five children aged 1 - 9 years, attracted by the website's claim that Cob House is a "great family day out". Thoroughly disappointed - the animal collection amounts to a handful of reindeer, two pigs, three goats, a few hens wandering around and not much else. When the reindeer are on loan, even they won't be... More

Love visiting the cob house with group of friends and young children. They love the animals although I have to say they have disappeared some what! They have the ground and space to have so much more it's ashamed they don't make the most of it. Cafe is lovely food ok. Kids toy area could be cleaner the toys are... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, all feedback is valuable and comments taken on board. I was concerned that you thought that the animals had got less. This year they have increased and I wondered if you had seen the Alpacas and the Goats in the paddocks across the driveway as they were the... More

Having visited the cob house previously for coffee and cake I thought we would give it a try for breakfast this Sunday. How disappointing, it was awful we arrived at about 10.30 and whilst the food was sitting on what was supposed to be a hot plate it was stone cold, sausages burnt, bacon chewy, fried bread was like a...
