The Museum/shop staff are very friendly and helpful about the history and story of the porcelain. Particularly liked the audio guide given to you as allowed you to decide what you wanted information about and could get extra anecdotes if you wanted. The workmanship of items on show was fantastic - painters were artists in own right. Some pieces took... More

We originally went to Worcester to see the porcelain factory unfortunately it has closed down but next door is the pottery museum, there is an entrance fee but it's worth paying especially if you like history and pottery, there was a professional gilder on hand to show you how it is done, there are also guided tours via handsets, a... I was overwhelmed with the intricate and delicate detail of many works which had been displayed, some to VIPs. At only £6 per perwon and audio guide, worth the money. I did think the shop could've had more general souvenirs as magnets, post cards, stationary, confectionary as a lot of other crockery manufacturers have in. museums.

Simply stunning collection of Royal Worcester porcelain over two floors. Excellent audio tour; full of information giving the history of the factory, the making and decoration of the porcelain. One of the best audio tours we have ever listened to. A well laid out exhibition. Staff friendly and informative. Bonus of the visit was meeting Henry Sandon of Antiques Roadshow... More

We did the audio tour of the two storey museum. Some wonderful pieces and incredible workmanship and the commentary was also an interesting social history. Took maybe 80-90 minutes.

I visited the museum with my mother and brother. The staff who looked after us made us tea and even gave us a mince pie as it was Christmas! The museum is refreshingly bright and well presented with audio tours included in the entry fee. The range of porcelain from the earliest production to the recent past was incredible. The... More

A superb collection of examples of Worcester porcelain from the beginning in the 1750s right up to the closure of the factory in 2008. There are explanatory panels for the display cases and laminated sheets with basic information about individual pieces but not all cases are labelled nor all pieces identified; most enjoyment comes to those with some knowledge, even...
