Description: Three miles east of Worcester surrounded by glorious countryside and deer...
Three miles east of Worcester surrounded by glorious countryside and deer park lays one of Britain’s best-kept secrets. Spetchley is a garden for all tastes containing one of the biggest private collections of plant varieties outside the major botanical gardens. Spetchley is not a formal paradise of neatly manicured lawns or beds but rather a wondrous display of plants, shrubs and trees woven into a garden of many rooms and vistas. It is certainly an ever changing garden and one undergoing many changes. The Revival Project is in its infancy; a ten year project aimed at reviving Spetchley's wonderful legacy. Please follow us to see how we get on and come and visit to view this wonderful garden and watch its transformation.

I've driven past this place so many times but never really been intrigued enough to visit. My girlfriend suggested we finally pay it a visit and I'm so glad we did. It cost £6.50 each to get in which is only really £1.50 more than you would usually pay for an open garden. Although there is a big stately home,... More

Lovely place to visit for a few hours. Beautiful gardens. Only complaint would the lack of choice of ice cream flavours from the cafe!

Have just been with a friend, really disappointed. Visited here a year or so ago, the garden then where very well maintained and lovely to walk around. Now they seem to be neglected although certain parts ie the vegetable gardens are obviously kept up and were full of produce as to the rest it lacks care and was very full... More

A really stunning setting. I went to practice my photography and I wasn't disappointed! There are amazing views, flower lined pathways, sky scraping trees and a huge lake. There is a nice surprise around every corner. Just when you think you've seen everything you discover a new pathway that takes you off on another journey. You will also find an... More

We visited these gardens today. Only about 20 miles away, but this was our first visit. We were amazed how beautiful they are. The views across the lake to the house were beautiful and the gardens were well kept. The scent from the roses and shrubs was gorgeous. The tea rooms are lovely too, and the prices not too bad.... Visited midweek and found it quieter than expected. The reception area was modern and well stocked with souvenirs. Lots to see in the garden and many different areas to explore. The lake was pretty with lots of lilies. The roses were especially attractive, and all were named which is ideal for gardeners. A very pleasant place to visit and the... More

I am a little late in posting this review. My wife and I visited Spetchley Gardens on 6th April 2015. The whole experience was amazing. Spring flowers, shrubs etc everywhere. Daffodils, Snow Drops, Magnolias, Forsythia, Hellebor's, Camellias etc. All were 'named' making it so much easier to identify. There are walled gardens, statues and places where one can picnic and... A nicely designed gravel car park with country views gives a good first impression, confirmed by an attractive modern reception room and shop. But the gardens are less than pristine. I am not against designated wild areas amongst well kept gardens but some areas were unkempt and overgrown. We even had to dodge bushes overhanging paths. I like to see... More

I went to Spetchley Park Gardens with my family and my brother's girlfriend last weekend and the gardens were really beautiful! Very nicely kept and filled with gorgeous flowers! The café was also lovely.
