We stopped off here for breakfast on our way for a weekend away. We had the big breakfast, food was good, filter coffee not so good. Customer service not the best I've seen. The cakes looked really good although we didn't try them, but were quite expensive. Not sure if we would return.

Just visited the country park with our two grandchildren, it is a retail park not a country park, the only thing for children to do is to go on the train. There is not a play area with swings ect: for children. There are walks but these are not signposted so we were not sure where we were going. The... More

Thank you for your posting - We totally agree the name country park is misleading this is why we are currently undergoing a rebrand and will be know as The Valley -Shopping Leisure and Adventure in the Heart of England. The centre is undergoing a wide range of changes to improve the offer and signposting the walks is a high... More

We went for a look around and to buy some meat etc. Unfortunately although a Sunday of the bank holiday weekend, the fridges were empty as they had gone wrong. The rest of the shops were very poor and the lady who serves in the clothing area was very rude to another customer. Very disappointed.

Thank you for your response, it was very disappointing for Millets Farm Shop that the meat refrigeration cabinets developed a fault on Saturday and they were dependant on an engineer and a re stock over the Bank Holiday weekend - all credit to them in managing to get up and running again on Sunday but obviously not in time for... Busy restaurant and food OK - although nothing special. However, the service from staff was very poor. The person who served us gave us incorrect information regarding the offers on and this resulted in us having to then question the price at the till. We were then made to feel the matter was our fault - even though went to... More

Took a chance and drove down from Birmingham to take my little one on the train. Wasn't expecting much and it was cheap. Didn't realise it was all part of the garden centre with lots of other stuff so that was a bonus. But the train was really excellent. Only lasts 20 minutes on a loop track via a small... More

We were staying in the area for the weekend so paid a quick visit here to see what the shops were like. Our quick visit ended up being over 2 hours of shopping + coffee break. There is a reasonably small number of shops for this type of out of town centre but the variety is good from a farm... More

Good place to visit, not as many shops as you may imagine but this is growing and will eventually have many shops, holiday lodges etc. Miniature railway is fun for kiddies, worth getting of at the first stop for a walk along the river. The cakes in the farm shop are delicious, plenty of parking. Garden centre has everything, definately... More
