This tower was built as a "folly" to impress the neighbors and show the owner's wealth. I get the impression some people come here just to see the outside of the structure, and never go inside. That's too bad. There are some interesting historical items on the upper floors, including a history of the area from WW II. A driver... More

Went to Broadway Tower for a mid day meal, this was very good. Went for a walk to the tower the weather was very good and we even saw the herd of red deer. Well worth a visit, the views are brilliant. Parking is £2 but you get that back if you have food or buy some thing from the... More

We were staying in Childswickham just near Broadway and were told about the tower by our host. The displays on each floor of the tower are interesting and there are fantastic views from the roof. We visited the café and had a delicious lunch in the sunny garden and finished the afternoon with a browse in the shop where we... More

We were so high up that the wind was really letting rip on our visit to Broadway tower, having said that it certainly filled our visit with some excitement. The walk from the centre to the tower is not too far,but as I mentioned the weather was closing in,and the silhouette of the tower on the sky line was very dramatic.... More

Broadway Tower is well worth a visit. You can see 16 counties on a clear day. Enjoyable visit. Not suitable for the disabled.

You can walk up to the base of the tower for no charge as it is located along a public footpath. The view is incredible from ground level at the base of the tower -- at 1,024 feet elevation on the edge of the edge of the Cotswold escarpment overlooking the village of Broadway and miles and miles beyond; ascending... Great views of the countryside. Interesting history museum inside the tower. Make sure you go when the weather is good, if it is overcast it may not be worthwhile (without a nice view).

The views from to top of the tower are terrific. Take binoculars to aid the experience. There is a lovely little café and very interesting exhibits on the different levels as you ascend the tower.

Have not visited for many years and certainly a lot of work has taken place. Easy parking but now metered for up to and over 4 hours. A dog friendly cafe with outside seating, we enjoyed our cream tea, and adjoining gift shop where you can obtain your tickets for the Tower. The cafe is very clean and tidy and... More
