Visited today, a cold damp Sunday, parked in a disabled area and tried the wheelchair on the ramp to the coffee shop entrance. Unfortunately, to reach the ramp one needs to push thro shingle which is nigh impossible. The doors were not automatic, again not disabled friendly. Coffee was mediocre and lukewarm, custard slice was tasteless; the only redeeming factor... More

The fact that the farm shop is always busy speaks for itself. Excellent staff and good service in the shop. Goods are slightly dearer than high end superemarket but quality is what counts. Butchery and deli counters excellent. Coffe shop is a real haunt for the locals and visitors. Good prices and variety of cakes, pastries, cold and cooked snack... More

Visited the Farm Shop in December. We generally visit several times a year, on our way to the West Country. Meat produce and pies very over priced. We chose pies and salads in the restaurant. Pie exceptionally meaty but accompanying salad could not be called a salad at all, very bland and just a few leaves. The table we ate... More

Fantastic place to visit, lots of great produce, all fresh meat and vegetables and also good for gift idea's. We stayed a little longer than normal and had a coffee and some lunch, all very tasty and fresh, hot and cold savoury meals, and a great selection of cakes too. This place is well worth a visit, even to just... More

I can't believe how good this is. Great range of products - freshly baked bread, fruit and veg plus a great meat counter and deli range. Even better at this time of year. The Christmas Shop is open! Rounded off with a bite to eat in the cafe.

This is a lovely place for anyone who enjoys gardening, shopping for fresh vegetables, meats, baked goods, wines, jellies, jams---must I go on?! We wished we would have been able to purchase some of the lovely plants to bring back to the States. We did bring back a nice assortment of goodies that were easy to pack. Since we were... More

We visit quite often but probably won't anymore, the food is lovely and the coffee, we arrived at 330pm today (prime afternoon tea time) the large conservatory area had been closed off, although some people were still sitting in there. There were hardly any cakes left to choose from. The way of ordering has changed and it is worse than... More

I met a friend here recently and although the food itself was nice and the staff were friendly and efficient, the one thing that really bugs me are tables left with dirty crockery on. Such a simple thing - I don't think the Royal Family would be impressed - get it sorted - please

It's a farm shop with a reasonably priced cafe, with a nice seating area. A nice little stop off on the sightseeing bus.

Farm shop was just amazing. Well stocked meat counter. Fresh vegs all grow in the castle grounds. Well worth a visit it's just off the... More
