A lovely sunny day in Windsor. We had Tesco vouchers to reduce the cost. We chose the 40 minute trip as we were worried the 2 hour would be too long for the kids. It was very relaxing and the recorded commentary was informative. The staff were fine, there wasn't really an opportunity to chat with them. You could order... More

Done the 2 hours trip as was a rainy day in Windsor and needed a undercover activity, this is perfect. The boats are well equipped and the navigation is very good. Cost £30 for 3 of us, good sights and interesting tour.

We booked the 2 Hour trip from Windsor Promenade down to Boveney Locks. The weather was atrocious and we were the only two on the trip - but we could not fault staff - Liam the Bar Tender who kept us supplied with drink whenever we required a refill ,Ian the Captain - kept us a float and very friendly... French Brothers offer 40 minute trips from the quay at Windsor to Boveney lock and return, or longer 2 hour trips which go further along the river and pass through some of the locks on the Thames. All their boats seem to be configured with a top deck with moveable plastic seating and dropdown pvc sheets to protect passengers when... More

We were bought this lovely cruise as a gift by our friends and it was truly wonderful. We even ate on board on the return trip. Everything is done well and I noted that disabled folk were given great care. We had a wander around Windsor and also visited the Kennedy and Magna Carta memorials at Runnymede. We have a... More

pleasant cruise up the Thames with commentary. I would recommend that anyone visiting Windsor should do this if only for the stunning view of the castle on the return part of the trip.

We spend a day on the river in Windsor, with the most perfect weather possible and had a most enjoyable trip. The commentary was informative and interesting. We did not partake in any drinks or snacks but they are available. The river scenery is quite special.

It was a hot, sunny afternoon and the thought of gliding peacefully along the river was too tempting to resist. The cost of £7 for a forty minute trip was excellent value, especially with the continuous commentary which pointed out interesting landmarks (with their history) and general information about the river and surroundings. The trip lived up to our expectations... More

We decided to end our Windsor Castle visit by joining the 2pm afternoon short 40 minute river cruise. Arriving just 5 mins before the scheduled departure we had no problem purchasing tickets. However the seating on the upper deck was a little cramped as seating can be easily moved and by arriving so close to the departure time the available... More
