Went on a 2 hour afternoon river cruise , sat at the front of the boat , lovely and comfortable ! Great value for money ! Great commentary , even went up and down a lock ! Food and drink is available , also hampers can be pre booked , but you can take your own food and drink on... More

We hired a steam boat (The Streatley) for a day's cruising from Runnymede to Maidenhead, there were 34 of us in the party - and what a wonderful day we had. The crew really took care of us all extremely well and they were all very friendly. We had a buffet lunch and afternoon tea and the quality of food... More

Had a great trip from Windsor to Runnymede after a visit to the Castle, The trip was interesting and relaxing with refreshments brought to your seat. This is our fourth trip with French Brothers and you learn new things from each commentary. We want to come back to try the steam vessels.

A 2 hour trip on the Thames for £10.50 each is a bargain but when you use Tesco's vouchers it is really a steal. Sit upsairs on plastic chairs with a slightly better view or sit in the bow on comfortable cushioned benches with tables, no contest ! Bar on board and there is a waiter service. The commentary is... We hired the boat party package. We were all very impressed with the boat, disco, bbq and the great crew on board. Drinks were reasonably priced and plenty of choices. Everyone really enjoyed the evening the the 4 hour tour was perfect. I'm sure we wil be back for more next year!

I took my husband on an afternoon steam boat trip complete with afternoon cream tea for his birthday. It was superb. He loved the steam boat and the tea was excellent. There was a friendly crowd and the staff were efficient and even called the caterers for more sandwiches when they ran out. This wasn't their fault . There must... More

Terrific event for the Windsor area. We thoroughly enjoyed the late afternoon cruise as the weather was hot. Staff were great and responsive and the attractions well worth the journey. Learning more about Eton College and Ascot racecourse was really interesting.

Undertook the 2hr trip on the particularly hot day so the cover and breeze were most welcome. The trip itself is ok with commentary for the main points of interest (and a leaflet with the details too). The trip is leisurely but not overly exciting!

We took the 2 hour French Brothers boat trip from Windsor. The boat was nice enough but the seats all face inwards so there is no way to look out the windows comfortably. You either have to kneel or twist round to see what's going on. The upstairs fills up really quickly so its best to get there early to... More

This boat trip is average at best. Such a beautiful vessel, but when you board and go up to the deck you’ll find chairs laid out in rows, all facing the front like a school assembly or church service. They're so close together that moving around during the trip is difficult. To add insult to injury they are upright old... More
