Family ticket £23, thought that would be quite expensive for an hours museum, but we stayed for over 3 hours, so very good value for money. Excellent knowledgable, helpful volunteer guide gave us a great tour of each different plane, which buttons did what etc. Its so nice to go to a 'Museum' were you are encouraged to touch, climb... I went there yesterday and I loved it because you could go into the planes and there were some planes that make sounds! The best thing about getting into the cockpits is that you could imagine being the pilots of the plane!!!!¡¡¡¡ I recommend you go. Eddie Age 10

A fantastic little find for an interesting and extremely interactive afternoon visit. Enthusiastic and friendly staff who really know their stuff and free access to sit in the cockpits of the sort of Raf fighter planes that you dreamed of flying in as a kid - and as an adult. An absolute joy to be told feel free to touch... More

There are the I aspects of this museum that sets it apart from any other I have ever visited. The staff are ex military and passionate about every aircraft, they bring them to life with stories and intensity that makes you really feel it. The second point is that you can get in the cockpits and play. You can be... More

What a great museum! The children loved it. So much to see and being able to touch and feel equipment and sit in cockpits as well as dress up as fighter pilots. Seeing their faces light up was fantastic. Enthusiastic, kind, helpful and extremely helpful guides made our time really special. We even managed a spin in the Simulator?! It... More

A young developing museum staffed entirely by enthusiastic knowledgeable volunteers many of whom have direct links with Boscombe Down which has been at the fore front of Britain's aviation advancements since it's creation in 1917. The museum focuses on some of the greatest leaps in aviation history - the jet age. They operate a friendly hands on approach allowing visitors... More

A wonderful display of (mostly) fighter cockpits and instrument layouts. As everyone else explains there seems to be a never-ending supply of enthusiasts available to talk to you about the exhibits. Without these enthusiasts most of these exhibits would have been consigned to the scrapyard years ago, which would have been a crime. This attraction is ideal for teenage children... More

We spent a super afternoon here with old friends who we took on a suprise visit. We were well looked after by the friendly staff and Peter Bryant who gave us a little talk and showed us around. He had an excellent knowledge of all the aircraft and the stories behind them. We were able to sit in the cockpits... More

The museum is run by enthusiastic volunteers, most of home have seen service action in aircraft much like in the museum, so they really know what they are talking about. They get the right balance of telling you interesting facts and anecdotes but also letting wander around, climbing into cockpits and playing with switches! Great day out.

This is a great place to visit! All of us really enjoyed the experience and the staff were so friendly and helpful. There is a really interesting selection of aircraft and visitors are encouraged to try all the cockpits out. There's also a link trainer giving anyone a chance to safely crash an aircraft! Highly recommended.
