it's a cinema right? But in the most unusual setting inside a historic building in the centre of Salisbury. Adds a novelty factor to seeing a film

A nice nite out, 15 march 2014 we watched the film 300 Rise of a Empire in 3D, the screening was brilliant in screen 5, it was not too fun so it was even nicer, most enjoyable. 10/10

My wife and I attended, while staying overnight in the area. We had never before experienced such an old cinema ! We met and chatted to two members of staff, who were charming and helpful. The foyer and sitting/waiting areas have retained their character, bearing a very old fireplace and other decorations. We saw the film in Cinema 1. Before... More

Salisbury cinema is a feast for your eyes, the building was a merchants house originally and is worth a visit, even if you just go through the doors to see the entrance. The ceilings in the cinemas are something else. The chairs are reasonable comfortable. The sweets and refreshment are very expensive so do your self a favor and get... More

This has to be the best place to see swashbuckling movies. Your unique experience begins as you walk in through the medieval hall. Are there any other cinemas from the 1400s anywhere else in the world? Maybe not the best projection facilities - but more than made up for by the experience.

This old building in Salisbury is very beautiful. I think it's a building that's features get overlooked a lot, especially the inside. If you visit please take the time to look around whilst you're inside! Shows a lot of history. The cinema is also really good. Plenty of screens and seats. Only downside is the seriously overpriced refreshments.

Saturday morning visit , for the first time to this cinema. It is an old building so v different to the usual multiplexes. Staff friendly . Building cold , probably due to the age of the building. Screen not huge , but sound system good. Overall value for money, and for us preferable to city centre modern venues

While in Salisbury I decided to see a film, and went to the local cinema. This has to be the most unusal ones I have even been to in my life. It is built inside the old medieval hall & is just a geat place to visit
