I have been to tropical world many times, as its very interesting to see the sights and look around the beautiful place. To make the trip even more interesting there's butterfly's flying about over you. I would highly recommend thus as its such an amazing place to go with all the family.

Cheap & cheerful with a good variety of insects, can easily pass an hour here looking at the insects and plants. worth a visit every 5yrs or so.

Really good place to take kids if it is wet. Lots of interesting stuff to see and well presented. Usual tourist tat shop but not too dear. Animals and bugs of all sorts to see.

Really enjoyable, like a mini zoo, good price, ran by Leeds city council. Have been twice, nice little afternoon out, lovely gardens near by and large park down the road. Tropical world can get very busy on weekends and school holidays. Very popular with families. Worth a look!

The problem with Tropical World is I don't think personally its worth paying an entry fee, but the animals are worth visiting for the wonder and awe in the children's eyes. It's starting to look tired and worn maybe it just needs a bit more tlc....

Landscapes and exotic plant life, hence why it's warm, Children must be accompanied by an adult, which is nice. It use to be free, but unfortunately there is a charge now, but still worth it.

We all enjoyed our visit here from the eldest to the youngest. If anything we would only consider visiting in term time next time we go as the place was very very busy and a bit of a fight to get round in some areas. Baby meerkats were just the cutest thing ever and of course the butterflies were lovely.... More

Butterflies birds reptiles and plants all made for an entertaining afternoon break from the rain but the highlight has to be the meerkats. We could stand and watch them all day

My boyfriend and I checked out local attractions and found this place so we decided to visit. It only cost a couple of pounds entry and we walked round at our leisure.. It was a lovely day out, lots to see and definately worth a visit.
