This beautiful park is always a pleasure

Dog walking with friends, or a stroll with children to feed the ducks or just a snack at the lovely little cafe.

Went for a walk round here a couple of weeks ago. Is a gentle hour/90 minute walk round, very peaceful, well maintained. Plenty of space for kids to run around if they want. Would recommend if you want to get out of the house for a couple of hours.

The 'park' is not a finely manicured city park, although there are parts of it that are very well kept in summer (the vegetable garden, dahlias, walled garden etc). These parts are near the cafe and warden's house. However and walk around the lake is rather more countrified and a pair of wellington boots are needed due to the muddy... More

Had a lovely evening out with the family. It was peaceful unlike some parks I have been to. The ducks made the experience worthwhile. Seeing the kids so excited. See you very soon Golden Acre Park!

What a delight to find a decent sized park so close to the city centre. There is more than adequate parking and the walking trails are well signposted and easy to navigate. Cafe within the park. caters for young and old alike.

This is a great little escape out of Leeds, not a long bus ride. A very romantic place, great spot for a picnic and to enjoy nature for hours.

I've been visiting Golden Acre for years since I was a child and it hasn't changed, but I've only recently discovered the nature reserve. Much quieter than the actual park and great as no dogs are allowed. (I love dogs but not what comes out of them.)There are two hides the first having feeders so it's easy to spot a... More

Is really nice to visit, to go for walks with your children, grandchildren or dogs. There is a few places to get ice creams and it has lots of different walks and trails around it. Its hard to believe you are just on the outskirts of Leeds. Would highly recommend a visit
