A delightful and picturesque place to take your family, very peaceful and scenic. There is also a tea room where you can relax and have a bite to eat. The wildlife especially the variety of water fowl is wonderful.

On the northern edge of the city, easy to get to by car and public transport (with bus stops for the Leeds to Ilkley X84 service by the entrance) this is a pleasant park with lake, woods, grassland, formal planting and gardens. The café is fine especially if weather or number of visitors mean you can sit on the terrace.... More

Great for dog walking and taking a stroll with friends and family. There is a cafe and a little lake where one can bird watch.

I went here for coffee and a sandwich over Christmas, very well staffed and stocked, had a lovely chat and catch up with an old friend. Reasonably priced in comparison to surrounding cafe's etc.

This is a lovely mature municipal park with an interesting history. We enjoyed looking at the veg area, as well as walking around the lake and throught the woods. The main carpark can get busy, but there is another at the back end on Arthington Lane. The cafe is warm, friendly & well stocked. On a nice day there is... More

This is THE best park in Leeds! There is easy access from 2 main roads with multiple car parks. The Ice Cream van's that are at the entrances are also a very nice plus. The park itself is great country park on the outskirts of leeds for walking and picnics. In the summer there are loads of people having picnics... More

I love to bring my Great Dane here. The woods and lakes are beautiful and there is a lovely little tea room too. There is a notice board with pictures of the water fowl so you can recognise the different types. There are squirrels and rabbits amongst the woodland that don't seem to run away when you walk passed them.... More
