A local Park & Lake with meandering pathways, Flowers, Bushes & Trees. Well looked after & very popular with Family groups & Dog walkers. A local Gem for us. Enjoy !

Made our first trip here on Tuesday 2 Sept 2014, with 2 year old grandson after hearing many good reviews, but we were disappointed. The car park was jammed and we had to squeeze in at the end of a row. The car park is across the main road opposite the park and you walk under a tunnel to get... More

A well organised tidy park with plenty of footpaths & a nice café. A large lake with interesting wildlife.

Went here for the first time on Sunday afternoon. Glorious weather so the park did look at its best. We did have trouble finding a parking spot, don't know if this is usual for a Sunday afternoon, so would probably return on a week day on a day off. It is a beautiful easy walk-through type of park for all... More

We liked the subway under the main road from the car park into the park, our first call was to the cafe then passed the "wild" disused mock railway track, novel idea. We liked the informality of this park & walked round the lake, unfortunately clogged with algae especially at one end. We didn't see all of the park so... More

This is an excellent example of a park at its best. it covers a large area which makes it an ideal spot for a walk; particularly when this walk takes you through well looked after parkland and then within a few minutes, rugged yet beautiful woodland. When you consider that Golden Acre Park also has a big lake, which is... More

One of my favourite places to go in Leeds - lovely sized park with beautiful, varied grounds. From a short walk to scenic bird hides, this a wonderfully balanced visit and I never get bored of sitting by the water or going exploring, it's nice to get away and return refreshed! The café in the centre is also pretty good... More

Lots of different places to explore. Lots of different wild fowl on lakes, especially around Paul's pond. Cafe being re fitted so unfair to judge ... But Porto Loos were filthy. Free parking was a nice surprise and lots of dog poo bins. Excellent :)

My wife and I always love a trip to Golden Acre Park as no matter the weather it's a great place to visit. The only negative is the parking facilities, there are limited spaces and on a warm day they quickly fill.
