It's been there for years. It's just an overall nice place to go if you like Sunday afternoon strolls. To top the surrounding they have a really pleasant place to go sit and have a light bite. Lots not super pricey. If you want a proper lunch then don't choose here but do if it's a casual snack on a... More

We have been to Golden Acre many times, its great to get out, go for a walk and enjoy the scenery. We always stop off for a cuppa and toasted tea cake at the coffee shop too. The only downside is the shortage of parking.

You can go here for a short stroll or long walk. Lovely in autumn and squirrels everywhere! Fun got the dogs and great for kids. Coffee house overpriced.

We love coming here with our sons, it's a lovely walk around the park. It's a good park for dog walkers too.

This is a really well kept park. Our favourite part is by Paul's Pond where our dog can wander off his lead & we usually meet other dog owners.

Sometimes all you want is a quiet walk and a coffee at the end of it. Instead the place is spoiled by unruly dog owners with little regard for anyone other than themselves and their stupid mutts. You cannot admire the beautiful surroundings for your eyes have to help your feet navigate through piles of steaming dog dirt, you cannot... More

the only bugbear I have with this place is the lack of control of some dog owners who allow their animals to run around aimlessly spoiling the experience for others who want to enjoy the peace and wildlife and gardens. a visit to the adel dam nature reserve at the bottom end is an escape from that as dogs are...
