Really like this little cinema. It's much cheaper than the larger chain ones and I find it very comfortable. Plus they serve alcohol

Great to watch a film here, friendly staff and very cheap prices. Although the film choice is wider in the larger multiplexes in town, I find it is much better to try and support this beautiful independent cinema. Even the ticket is reminiscent of the 'good old days'.

Since moving to Headingley as a student 4 years ago it's been my go to place any time I've wanted to see a film. It feels like having a movie theatre in your own room, while tickets are always pretty cheap. Parking can be a bit tricky close to the venue so it's worth finding a space in more central... More

Nice old cinema. Serves beer and wine which is nice. Very good price, a lot cheaper than other cinemas and it does orange wednesdays! Good ice cream, alright seats, does classic films. Very nice place, I come here all the time.

My husband and I prefer to go to this cinema from one of the large multi cinema complex. We always feel welcome, the prices are good, the seats are comfy, and we either go by car, and have a choice of parking on the nearby streets, or use the bus. We sometimes have to wait for a particular film to... More

Like the Tardis, much bigger on the inside than you'd think from the street, this 468 seat cinema is the oldest in Leeds and one of the oldest in the UK - it "has been continuously showing films since 1912". http://www.cottageroad.co.uk/ It has digital projection and Dolby Digital 7.1 surround sound, plenty of leg room, and is only £6.50/£7 per... I love this place. Quaint small cinema in Headingley. Great sound system. Somewhat comfortable seats. Very reasonable prices for a movie.

The cinema in Headingley is definitely worth a visit. Tickets are priced well and an old style ticket token is given which is an authentic touch. The popcorn is priced well at £3.50 for a large portion; you can choose from salted and sweet. The drinks are cheap too; £1.95 for a medium if I remember rightly. The cinema has... More
