We attended the afternoon performance of "Barnum" at this beautiful venue yesterday. An outstanding show, Brian Conley is wonderful as Mr Barnum, and the whole cast gave a spellbinding performance. Would highly recommend this show - fantastic entertainment! Staff at the venue polite and helpful. Five stars all round! Fantastic! Well done to the whole cast and crew. Go along,... More

Great building fabulous show . Absolutely loved it . Great place . Fantastic night out . Service is prompt in the bar . Ushers could be a little more friendly not sure why they are rude to customers sometimes. The show is specular .. The Barnum .. Quote ..... This exhilarating musical follows the irrepressible imagination and dreams of Phineas... More

Went to the Saturday matinee of 12 angry men - a great performance in a beautiful theatre. Whilst I appreciate we were sitting on the front row of the circle , there was plenty leg room and seats relatively comfy. Interval refreshments were also not excessively priced which was good to experience. All in all a great afternoon.

A superbly acted, tense drama. Even though we knew the story and therefore the ending, we were engrossed in the tos and fros of the arguments. The way in which it starts in a comfortable, almost 'all boys together' fashion but deteriorates into a tense atmosphere in which individual prejudices and backgrounds are revealed kept us engaged throughout.

went here to see the Hollies. It was great, we were seated in the Upper circle but what a view. This is appears to be one of the old theatres whereby wherever you sit you have a decent view. The bar on our level was great, it was like walking into an old fashioned pub lounge with pretty decor. Legs... More

An accessible venue with offset seating so you see between the people in front of you. We went to see Vincent & Flavia's "Dance til Dawn" which was simply phenomenal.

We saw Top Hat at the Grand Theatre a few months ago which was excellent. The Theatre is full of character and very traditional. This week we saw Dance til Dawn which is brilliant. The dancing is just amazing with precise and sharp footwork - Vincent and Flavia set the stage alight with dazzling dance routines. The story holds your... More

Be very aware when booking. Avoid the balconies cramped seating, Ryanair is luxury in comparison. The theatre is probably over a hundred years old and so is the comfort factor. We were on the fifth level.
