Went a couple of months ago to see One Man, Two Guvnors, the show was fabulous and the theatre was excellent, so nice when a city or town keep their theatres and restore them, modern theatres can be nice but to see a show in an original theatre is a delight.

I went along to a matinee performance of Top Hat at the Grand Theatre in Leeds on sunday and had a fantastic afternoon. The Grand Theatre is the perfect setting for a show jam packed with old school Hollywood glitz and glamour. I've seen the show before during it's West End run and the touring show is just as impressive... More

Went with my daughter to see Top Hat in this magnificent building. Only 10 to 15 mins away from the rail station so very handy to get to, taking this option as more preferable to driving and parking in the centre of Leeds. It is steeped in history and run by a great group of people who were very welcoming.... More

We saw dirty dancing, first class performance with a really lively atmosphere. We had a smashing time. My only criticism was the lack of toilets. The line to the ladies was huge with the fair sex resorting to using the gents !

We love the Grand Theatre and the Howard Assembly Rooms both of which do great events including top class opera, films , music and talks . BUT the website for ticket sales is truly awful and must deter so many people without the saintly patience and determination which are obviously needed. Please can this be sorted out before we just... More

We attended here as a group to see Dirty Dancing. The theatre is well set up with plenty of bars, plenty staff and ample amenities. The theatre room itself is a beautiful representation of a well preserved piece of history. The decor and set up are beautiful and appear true to its history. The show itself is a must see,... More

The location is a fabulous theatre boasting plenty of character. We went to watch Dirty Dancing and it was a overall a good production. The only downside to the show was the crowd appeared to be made up of mostly hen do's which made the show feel cabaret and cheap at times with the exaggerated wolf whistling etc. Would definitely... Went to see Dirty Dancing in this old classic theatre. The seating is tight and not the most comfortable but it all adds to the atmosphere. It was a great show in a great theatre.
