We had a couple constantly talking throughout the production that we attended and kindly asked them to be quiet - this didn't work so we spoke to the Leeds Grand Theatre foh staff, who to my shock told us to sort it out ourselves. We then complained to a higher person within the theatre, who showed no interest at all,... More

I came here to watch a show last summer and was impressed by the architecture. Good views apart from the pillars and obviously a great show. Very expensive drinks prices though so probably have a drink somewhere else first!

Just loved being in such an amazing Victorian theatre .... Couldn't stop looking upwards! Would loved to have had a tour around the building & wished I'd had more time to read about its history. Friendly helpful staff

We visit a Yorkshire theatre about 15-20 times per year. The Grand is still the cleanest, friendliest and best views! Give it a try!!

As mentioned by many other reviewers, the theatre gets extraordinarily hot as the performance progresses. We paid for what were described as restricted view seats but you could still see much of the stage; well worth the £20. We were lucky enough to see the very last performance of Wicked, a great show, just hoping Matilda heads this way soon.

I went to see wicked at Leeds Grand Theatre with my husband and we were in the stalls at the back and they were great seats with plenty of leg room and great views of all the stage. it was so nice to see a show of this quality without having to go to London. The show and costumes were... More

I have seen many shows, ranging from musicals to comedy, at the Grand and have always thought that this is a great theatre. My most recent visit, to see Wicked, was very enjoyable. My only negative comment would be in relation to how hot the theatre can get, particularly on the balcony. That has been the subject of a number... More

This theatre is excellent...you feel so much closer to the stage and actors that other theatres. The leg room is spacious and it seems as though, from any seat, the view of the stage is great. Overall the theatre and the shows are fabulous!

Went to see Wicked but didn't enjoy it as felt unwell due to the excessive heat. We were told we could have a free glass of water from downstairs but that wasn't really the point. I was planning on going to see Shrek but aren't going to bother as couldn't bear to sit in those circumstances again.
