The Grand Theatre has the best ballets, operas and musicals in the North of England. The architecture is phenomenal and the staff are very friendly. Tickets are quite pricey though!

I visit the Grand Theatre at least 2 or 3 times a year. It is a beautiful old theatre and had an extensive refurbishment a couple of years ago. There is a varied programme of shows with something for everyone. Long live The Grand !

My partner and I went to see the legendary Mousetrap at the Leeds Grand Theatre and we both loved it. We were seated in an Upper Circle Box with a great view and sound. The play was well acted for the most part, a couple of the actors overplayed it slightly but it was good entertainment. I had surprised my... More

The theatre has all the old charm and decor and the seats in the stalls and balcony are very comfortable. Good provision for people with mobility issues too. Staff are courteous and helpful. Saw 5 productions in the last 3 months with my mum. Parking is available nearby. Would be useful if the theatre website mentioned that on street parking... More

We saw Shrek The Musical here. The show was a hoot, but the building itself was lovely inside. The program of events throughout the year seemed to be quite varied. I would really recommend an evening out here if you're in Leeds for a few nights.

The theatre has been beautifully restored to its original splendour! I usually attend classical productions, but the theatre offers a broad variety of productions from ballet and opera, to musicals, comedies and stand-up comedians.

A wonderful old theatre with spectacular interior. Seats are reasonably comfortable with a decent amount of knee room for the average sized person. We had seats on the front row of the dress circle and had a great view. There is no rail on the balcony edge(as there is at Bradford Alhambra) and therefor the view was unrestricted even for... More
