We saw dirty dancing, first class performance with a really lively atmosphere. We had a smashing time. My only criticism was the lack of toilets. The line to the ladies was huge with the fair sex resorting to using the gents !

We love the Grand Theatre and the Howard Assembly Rooms both of which do great events including top class opera, films , music and talks . BUT the website for ticket sales is truly awful and must deter so many people without the saintly patience and determination which are obviously needed. Please can this be sorted out before we just... More

We attended here as a group to see Dirty Dancing. The theatre is well set up with plenty of bars, plenty staff and ample amenities. The theatre room itself is a beautiful representation of a well preserved piece of history. The decor and set up are beautiful and appear true to its history. The show itself is a must see,... More

The location is a fabulous theatre boasting plenty of character. We went to watch Dirty Dancing and it was a overall a good production. The only downside to the show was the crowd appeared to be made up of mostly hen do's which made the show feel cabaret and cheap at times with the exaggerated wolf whistling etc. Would definitely... Went to see Dirty Dancing in this old classic theatre. The seating is tight and not the most comfortable but it all adds to the atmosphere. It was a great show in a great theatre.

Booked an upper circle box. Show was amazing throughout. Bit pricey in the bar £2 for a tiny bottle of lemonade is a bit steep. Will def book a box again as its nice and private with noone kicking your seat from behind. All in all an enjoyable experience

What a fabulous show. All the actors were brilliant. I did wonder how on earth such an icon of a film could be translated to the stage. No need to worry, my friends and I all enjoyed everything. The actors were fantastic.!!! Top marks to them all. The theatre itself is beautiful in a busy, exciting city. Would definitely go... More
