I walked through this park on Saturday and it was a lovely warm sunny day with plenty of people out some just relaxing, others playing sports some families and children, near many student areas and pleasant atmosphere for all.

Woodhouse Moor used to be the meeting place, when weather permitted, of many students who lived in flats and digs around the Hyde Park and Headingley areas. It borders the old university buildings. I would be surprised if this wasnt still a meeting place. Easier to walk to, say, than Roundhay which required bus or car to reach. Tennis courts...

I grew up next to the moor. its ok when the feast is there but apart from that theres nothing there.

I recently visited this place and found it very friendly. We sat in the park revelling in the sunshine getting high, the best part of the vacation was shopping in the various shops selling wonderful items.
