I've visited Harewood many times over the last decade and was a member for a few years. A recent impromptu visit resulted in me rejoining as I have a young family and there is lots to do for them. The gardens are great for exploring with stepping stones and a walled garden. The adventure playground suits all ages and we've... More

I visited Harewood House from Harrogate and took the no. 36 bus which goes directly past (on its way to Leeds) in about 30 mins. By doing so, and purchasing a heritage bus ticket, I gained entry to Harewood House for half price. A man driving a buggy met me as I set off down the long drive - my... More

We hadn't been to Harewood before and it was clearly very popular - and a number of school visits. the gardens were lovely - the bird garden was great - especially the cheeky wild birds - and the feeding of the penguins great fun - I liked their sense of humour - splashing those foolish to get too close to... We took a large group of schoolchildren and as it was a lovely day spent most of the time outside. The map was easy to follow and we navigated ourselves around quite easily. Firstly we went to the bird garden and above saw some birds of prey. Some fairly steep steps which can be slippery so it is not disabled... More

Harewood House and Gardens really are a lovely place to visit. With the added attractions of the Bird Park, adequate play area and walk around the lake, this is well worth a visit. However, I have been a season ticket holder this year and on everyone of my visits I have been shocked at the poor quality service in the... More

What a wonderful setting for the start of the Tour de France and what a fantastic day. This is a must visit place for anyone wishing to explore all those wonderful sights in Yorkshire that the Tour passed through.

This was our first visit to Harewood House and its grounds, and we took two of my American cousins (literally) for a visit there, after we'd been to see our 3 day old grandson in Leeds. The weather was great and to add to the occasion for the "colonialists" there was a society wedding taking part during our visit. The... More

We visited this over the weekend as part of the Tour de France celebration. The gardens are very impressive although the Himilayan Gardens need work. Food served in the facilities was freshly served, good price and the staff were very plays any and chatty. House, which I will admit is never really my thing was interesting and had lots of... More

Living in Leeds and never having been to Harewood house we decided to give it a go. My wife has mobility problems, but we have a mobility scooter which fits in the car and allows us to visit most places. Having winced at the price we made our way to the café which we expected to be dear, but found... More

What a disappoint this was. We bought a family ticket for £27, it was a special day out for Fathers Day. We arrived at 2pm, and by 3pm we could see a huge queue of show cars leaving Harewood. So really we didn't get to see a good selection of cars. We couldn't understand why there was a display of... More

First of all thank you for your feedback. The classic cars are brought along by private owners and it's requested that they remain in the arena until after 5pm by the event organisers. The Car Show is designed to be a family event therefore the event organisers try to provide something for everyone. The main arena hosted a concourse of... More
