Leeds is literally littered with stunning Victorian architecture. Passing through its streets many great offices, chambers, and institutions sit alongside more modern counterparts. What I love about the Corn Exchange was the opportunity to enjoy the interior and not just the façade, which is all I am able to see of the other structures of the era. From top to... More

This is a building that holds many indoor unique shops. I use to visit this in the 90's when my daughter was little and we'd visit leeds on frequent day trips. Its been a few years since i last visited Leeds and there has been many regeneration properties going up in the meantime. But one thing hasnt changed too much... More

We had a quick look round the old corn exchange building last week. It has an amazing ceiling but that is about all it has going for it. There are some very small shops around the ground and upper levels but below ground level it is just an empty space. It is a shame as the building has so much... More

I only been to Leeds three times over the last 6 years but we always come to see this. The place never ceases to amaze me. Such beautiful symmetry of the ceiling. The independent shops are nice. Managed to find a birthday gift in the Yellow Sunrise. Had a latte in Vanilla One. There are few places to eat in... More

This is a beautiful building in Leeds City centre which is definetly worth a visit. There are a number of quaint little bespoke shops inside selling things you cannot & would not get on the high street. There are restaurants on the ground floor serving food throughout and cafes serving good coffee & home made cakes available. I would definetly... More

I visit this place from time to time . It has some great little shops in there but i am afraid that they are let down by the management who really need to get their act together because the basement needs filling- it is an embarrassment , an empty hole in the floor . There are so many businesses opening... More

The roof and the light inside is incredible. The building has a good maintenance. There are some shop who sell alternative and design objects. Also you can drink or eat something on the grand floor.

This building really was a fully functional "Corn Exchange" where grains and other foods were weighed and measured. Today it has more of an artistic feel, with trendy shops, boutiques and good coffee. The famous domed roof has been fully renovated and is back to it's natural splendour, showcasing the unique architecture that it was known for in it's hay... More

This is a beautiful building which contains several small independent shops. It is quite a small shopping area and only takes an hour to get round. However, it is well worth a visit.

Had a walk around this afternoon on a bank holiday weekend. Same old same old, bottom area STILL closed off with No one in there. I would expect by now that this bottom area would have a market area every weekend in it to at least fill it up so it does not look empty. People come in and walk... More
