Wonderful location, beauty spot, all the things you want from a wooded hillside to wander about on. Good parking, 4 car parks I think on the various roads crossing the Chevin.

We parked on the busy main road and walked up through the park, then down the steps towards Otley. We stopped at the cafe in the park for a drink andthe dog got a few treats to munch on while we drank our coffees. We caught the bus back from Otley to the car. Really good.

A well set up place to take your dog and have a good afternoon out if it is nice and sunny. A bit soggy when wet, so take care and wear good boots!! After, a well earned pint local is great.

Lovely walk, the first path was quite busy with families and dog walkers, but soon we were in a quiet area, hardly saw anyone and the dog got to play in the snow. The views are stunning from up here. Beautiful waterfall as well, and lot of information points including labelling of different types of trees. Parking was tricky with... More

Set in a woodland environment on the top of Otley Chevin, the hotel/restaurant is built in the Scandinavian "log cabin" style. The lakeside restaurant serves good food - and has a six course taster menu that is great if you like to take your time overt a meal/

This is a wonderful place to spend several hours. Split across two sides of the main road down to Otley, The Chevin forest park has a lot to offer. It is full of trees and spectacular views across to Harrogate and up past Otley and on towards the Yorkshire Dales. Lots of paths to follow-easy to spend hours here.

A great place to go for a walk, if you are a keen walker or just out for a stroll. Can be extremely windy at the top during the winter so be careful if there has been rain. Beautiful views over the Yorkshire Dales.
