Among the grounds I visited this is definately my least fauvorite one. View over the pitch is good, scoreboards informative, aisles wide and it is easy to locate your sit. Many places to buy a drink or snack around (however, haven't seen any healthy options). Lack of floodlights may be problematic during cloudy days. Pass-outs system that allowes you to... More

We went to the 1 day international, England v India and thoroughly enjoyed it. You really can't beat Headingley on a sunny day. The view from the NE Stand was perfect and everyone was good humoured, despite the gallons of beer being drunk, and hand-delivered by bar staff to some lucky spectators, to our surprise. You can take your own... More

Suns was out which and beer was chilled , this makes any cricket ground look and feel better. ;)) Great views from the white rose stand and food a beer although a touch expensive were nice . There was a bit trouble in the infamous east stand but police and stewards sorted that . It's ok for a lads day... More

It's still a decent ground and a lot has been done but more required if test matches are to keep coming back. Went to the one day game vs. India and we had great seats just next to the Western Terrace (always gets a bit lively later on!) access to food and drink was good and queues never got out... More

You can't beat Headingley on a sunny summers day. The investment in the ground means great views from most areas. If you're up for rowdy funtimes, head for the Western Terrace. If you prefer a more sedate view, try the Members' stand on the east side of the ground. Section O is elevated and gives decent views from a higher... More

Big cricket fan. First time at Headingley. Took my partner for a day at the England v Sri Lanka Test June 2014. Great ground - we had fantastic visibility, and the pavilion looks awesome. Nice and well organised concessions, but typically, no healthy foods to choose for lunch (jacket potato being good but the only option). Scoreboards modern and consumption... More

When my by brother-in-law and nephew visit from the US, we go to a Test match (when I am in the States, they take me to a baseball game). My brother-in-law flew into Newcastle the afternoon before the last day of the Sri Lanka Test at Headingley, and I was praying that England would not get beaten before the end... More

Enjoyed visit to Headingley to watch one day match v Gloucestershire . Staff were very friendly . Sat in the North East stand which had a good atmosphere . Food & drink were expensive , we took a picnic which turned out to be a good idea .

At £39 for two tickets this was a great evenings entertainment. Parking is on the local side streets but there are plenty of them around. The tickets were purchased on line and the collection from the indoor nets area was quick and easy. Although seats had to be chosen on booking, there were no reserved seats and it was first... More
