Great architecture

Although the shops were typical market stalls the meat and fish section had been maintained. The adjoining outside market had cheap clothes and bags etc

Such a good market for food shopping so many good deals and great selection! The market is also a great place to get some lunch as at has a lot of different options for take away food as well as little cafes inside the market! What a lovely market, it had everything the ultimate shopper could want, market stalls, coffee shops, eateries and friendly folk! spent most of the day walking round looking at the bargains, well worth a day trip! x

This market is filled with crap! Don't waste your time here - skip this market and spend your time elsewhere. Also, the people in and around this market are sketchy so beware.

Seriously though, there is some really great quality meat available at Kirgate Market, and there are some real bargains if you dig them out! Definitely worth a visit!

For people who love the market experience this market has it all,from cafes to places to eat clothes curtains fresh flowers fresh fish hairdresser's,beauty and fresh bakeries And much more. There is also an outdoor market which has so many fantastic things the aphosphere is like one big family. Fantastic day out for all

ive been to many markets in my time this must be the worst there was the most horrendous whiff about the place and the stalls reminded you of the tat you can win by knocking over a coconut on a blackpool shy, not a place for the faint hearted and not to mention the amount of people harassing you for... More

This is a great place to visit with something for everyone. Beautiful fresh fruit and veg, sweets, flowers and meat stalls. Also great variety shopping.

This market has such a large variety of stalls offering just about anything you can think of at keen prices. I visit quite regularly mainly to purchase fabric an always manage to find just what I want. The fresh fish stalls are great, you will be spoilt for choice the same with fruit and vegetable stalls all selling lovely fresh... More
