This is a must visit when in Leeds. From a bye gone age located in a beautiful building in Leeds City Centre. Be sure to look up at the architecture to view all the amazing turrets. Interesting stallholders selling a variety of food, clothes, haberdashery, flowers. Try the local oven cakes a Yorkshire speciality. Adds to the heart of Leeds.... More

The indoor market is huge, and they sell a variety of things like jewellery, household items, craft and stationary supplies, sweets, food from all over the world (including Polish and Chinese mini-supermarkets), clothes, pet supplies, even hairdressers are there... I always visit the market for fabric and haberdashery. B&M fabrics right in the middle is a family run business for over 50 years and has always had great fabrics on trend for fashion, craft fabric for crafter's, fleece, wools and quilters foam, wadding, vilene and patterns too. All the staff are extremely helpful and interested in what you are... More

It was my first visit to this market, as I walked in, I can smell food, and spotted the little Jamaican place. The man was well mannered and offered a sample. I fell in love with the food, it took me back to some happy memories relates to jerk chicken, rice and beans. Spot on for the price too. Then... More

Massive indoor market, went on a Monday and some shops were not open, but plan to go again on a different day. The fish and meat stalls are fantastic, massive range of produce.Did not buy anything as it was just a 'reccie' but plan to go again with plenty of shopping bags.
